It looks like that with the new update, performance of the game (and whole iPad) boosted up quite a bit, so some laggyness I’ve seen lately disappeared. I’m not sure whether this is just related to that this got restarted or the optimizations they mentioned in changelog, though. But since this used to work quite well with iOS 6 or so, maybe the problems have been just OS related...

I’m using iPad 2 here, so old hardware anyway.

That raises a question, has anyone tested whether the game works better with newest Android update (5.0 it was?)? IIRC it contains some speed optimizations too, and with HTC’s flavour, IMHO it also works like that. I haven’t played this on Android so I can’t do that myself

Android doesn't have an update yet......but I certainly hope game performance is better. If I have to speed through Sunset Dungeon at 2x speed one more time I am going to freak out. Finally got that shortcut today and it was one of the more ridiculous things I have ever had to do.

I meant iOS upgrade, not game upgrade. It still feels a bit laggy, but generally feels much smoother, so I can’t but think how much the OS actually affects to the game performance... I’ve had similar experiences with underpowered Jolla phone, that Android applications just runs faster with it than with HTC One O_o

I noticed that since the Lollipop upgrade for Android, the game controls seem to work better. I rarely lose control anymore, and the acceleration usually works at the start. The only thing that some people are dealing with, is this:

I can't remember if I actually ever had it happen to me, but it sure as hell sounds annoying.
