    PCMap bugging out | Forums

I completed the mission "A Key To The North", logged out, came back a while later, entered the campaign, and tried to go to the map, but it was bugging out, black with the lower left corner flashing between black and the map itself. Same thing happened with the crafting menu and the setting tab. Would like some help.

    System Specs:

    Windows 8.1
    Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4700HQ CPU @ 2.40 GHz
    Installed memory (RAM): 16.0 GB
System Type: 64-bit Operating System, x64 based processor

Keep in mind that this is NOT the same error in which the map is replaced by a black screen. In my game, you can see part of the map, and the other tabs are also afflicted.

    Try these steps:

    - Verify your Uplay files for Far Cry 4: https://support.ubi.com/en-US/FAQ/60...0000000ee85CAA
    - Make sure your drivers (more specifically gfx drivers) are updated

The specs you've listed so far seem good, but what graphics card are you using?

    Thanks!

I forgot to mention the same thing happens when i run the game (ie. NVIDIA, tiger vs elephant cutscenes/intros), and I have FC4 on Steam, not sure i f that changes the Uplay files.

I have 2 graphics cards (Device Manager) : Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600 and NVIDIA GeForce GTX860M

When I disable the Intel Chip, it works, but starts running a bit slowly. A LOT slower actually, so I was thinking if there would be any way to put it back to its normal speed (I disabled the Intel Chip in Device Manager).
