A little while ago i made a thread suggesting that you cross-platform ninja tracks in their own feed and do not include them in the Uplay Recommended feed. At the time we were told that the deal with cross-platform tracks was that they had to be placed into the Uplay feed.
I guess this "agreement" must have changed since then as several USER UPLOADED NINJA TRACKS were made cross-platform WITHOUT being added to the Uplay feed. This means one of two things: We were either lied too initially, or the agreement has been changed to allow cross-platform without the need to add to the Uplay feed. Whichever one is true, it means one thing for us ninja players... There is NO reason now why quality ninja tracks cant be made cross-platform for all to enjoy.Originally Posted by RoguishRonin Go to original post

They were uploaded on PC by a PC user. His versions of the tracks were used to cross-platform. regardless of who originally made the tracks, they were uploaded by a user and then cross-platformed without being added to the Uplay feed. This is either a violation of their apparent "agreement" or they have managed to form some kind of new agreement allowing user tracks to be cross-platformed without being added to uplay feed... or they just straight up lied about the agreement to begin with... i wonder which one?Originally Posted by xXJ4cK1EBXx Go to original post
The ninjas of the basegame tracks were uploaded on PC months ago by a user, as were local supercross tracks and some others.Originally Posted by Jonny Go to original post
Users can't cross platform tracks easily, in the past people have found ways to move X360 tracks to PC somehow.
I have no idea how it's compatible in other directions/ways/platforms.
I don't know the "rules" for doing this, as well as people "extracting" penguins/squirrels/objects/sounds from ingame tracks and use them in customs, because some of it is not available via normal editor means (think cyndi/george/zudina voiceovers etc.)
I always been careful about it myself as I don't want to break rules if it's not allowed, I don't wanna point fingers either.
I only play PC, and this is all based on my observations of playing Track Central since launch.

Anything related to FusionCommunity however account I assume is done by RL themself.
The crossplatforming policies haven't changed.
The ninja tracks we crossplatformed weren't made by the user, they were made by RL and they are already in the game for everyone to play. If they were ninja tracks the user all by himself from scratch based on our ninja tracks and then we crossplatformed them, it would be a different case, but they weren't so it's not and we didn't.
There's no news about any kind of ninja crossplatform feed and I would never say never, but the chances of that happening are small.
