I like daily events, especially ones where you are competing with other riders. The Prospecting challenges get stale really quick, so here's my idea for a new daily challenge:
The Daily Challenge is like a slot machine challenge. X number of air time, wheelies or flips. The difference is every day there is a leaderboard for the Daily Challenge, so you can see who finished the challenge fastest. At the end of the day everyone who completes the challenge gets a prize (something small, like coins or a gem or two) but the fastest 10% get something special (maybe a donkey blueprint? ).
An alternative way to rank the leaderboard: have it based on who can do the most air time/wheelie/etc while still getting a silver/gold/plat medal. It would be fun to see if anyone can do the entire 'Cave Entrance' on a wheelie
Like other leaderboards, you would be able to race the ghosts of other riders, so if you think a challenge is impossible, you can see how it's done. This whole idea came out of me being annoyed with seemingly impossible Slot Machine challenges, and wondering why I couldn't see a ghost of someone completing them.
Any thoughts? Any ways to improve this, or do you think it's a terrible idea?

I think its a good idea to have daily challenges of this nature (daily leaderboard, etc). No reason they couldnt have 2-3 of these going on very day, IMO. I like it where you have extra things you have to do as well; 5 backflips and Plat to qualify, etc. Some of them can be easy, some can be hard... if its gone in a day its no problem. Definitely want the ghost aspect.
Might want to put a limit on the number of tries or something, just to put the focus on skill and add to the challenge; seems like it kinda defeats the purpose to have people trying all day long to get the perfect run....
Small reward for participation, medium reward for top 40; nice reward for top 10, big reward for #1; keeps it interesting.

I figure it would cost fuel to race, and maybe each full restart costs fuel, kind of like the Bunker. That way you couldn't just retry all day, and I would finally have a use for all the fuel I've been neglecting for the past month or two.
