Shame that the information cannot be updated.

Although I would suggest that if the data could be updated, you would probably be better using # of standard deviations above a mean as a more accurate scoring. It probably wouldn't change the scoring at the top end, but it would definitely mean a much better accounting in the mid range.

Bascially, the current system means that some levels with massive time savers results in people who cannot get those time savers results in minimal points in that level. ie, levels with hard time savers are undervalued vs levels with no hard time savers.

Change that to a count of standard deviations above the mean will remove that issue. Even if you chose the mean to be #1000 in a level and calculate the standard deviation from above that.

I abandoned this leader board, because (1) I'm not that enthusiastic about this game anymore, (2) I'm addicted to Downhill MTB in real life, and (3) my technique involved using multiple user account to pull out data from the server, - do you remember that special gifting website? it's gone because at one point it was for free, but now I have to pay, so I shut it down - so having no those accounts anymore will make pulling leader board from the server an eternal operation..

Sorry guys, but I have more interesting and useful open source projects I'm working on right now.

DUDE! It's been a while, I haven't seen you on the forums in forever! That LB you created was great while it lasted, it had more integrity than these ones lol. It's good to see you still ride with us even though you aren't here much. I still check your times when I'm working on a track. You sound like you're kind of treating the game like I am now, just caring less I suppose. That's good, do what you gotta do to be happy!

Thank you guys! I'll keep playing - RedLynx does a great job by introducing new content.
Sorry for the leaderboard - that was really useful. I'd like to update it right now, but that might not be possible to accomplish in meaningful amount of time, besides I miss one track and I don't know its ID (missed the Stallion challenge).
I'd like to share some code that I did for the leaderboard so maybe another developer can pick it up and do smth cool, but not sure if it's OK to make it public. So I sent a message to RedLynx to get their opinion first. Let's see what they say.
Anyway, thanks for the kind words and wish you luck in the game and beyond it
