    Far Cry 5 Insane, Awesome, Crazy, Different !

    We all played the previous Far Cry Games, and we can clearly tell that everybody has a different opninion about the next Far Cry. But we cannot just ignore one of them, right ?

    I heard about dinosaurs, funny idea because they are big and invincible, but that's just unrealistic.

    I also heard about a realistic settled game like the previous Far Cry's, which makes it also very awesome.

    And it will also be boring if we won't create something different !

    Well, take a look at the list bellow with my ideas/changes and see how I think about this !



    - Since all the main protagonists are just a bit standard, I thought of this: He could be different than normal, maybe like he would be Delusional, or maybe he is just hating people alot, or maybe he is a bit crazy, or bi-polar or anything else ! That would definitely change alot and it would be new to the game, and then we could also bring back medication for that so that if you do not take them, you would become like that !

    - Since people are arguing about dinosaurs and realism, I got the solution for it: The main protagonist is just somewhere on the real world, no crazy stuff, but when he takes drugs/meds/is dreaming/or anything else, he would go to that location with dinosaurs. And what I mean is that people need to be able to make a choice themselves whenever they want to switch between the 2 worlds, like buying drugs, etc. Not in main story events !

    - Since people don't know what the location should be, how about this: there are 2 total different locations, like an island from Far Cry 3, Etc. and a home City like somewhere in Europe or Amerika where the main protagonist comes from, and then he should be able to go to the airport and go to the other location. The reason why: to save a family member / just go on a trip, not realizing it is gonna be bad / or something not that standard like: Smuggling drugs gone bad / Visit a catfish gone bad / going there to find a treasure / or anything else !

    - Most of the weapons from the previous titles where overpowered, making us choose the best ones, and letting the bad ones behind. We could change this: You can carry up to 3 light weapons, or up to 1 light and one mid class weapon making it 2, or just one heavy weapon. This way we would have to make a fair choice. We could also make it possible for the weapons to jam, and make a repair cost alot for heavy weapons and less for any other weapons. Maybe we should just give the player a choice of 2 weapons: 1 slot where a weak weapon comes in like a pistol with alot of ammo or a smg with less ammo and one slot with any other weapons. and we could giva an option to the player if he decides to take 2 pistols, he can hold one in each hand, doing akimbo.

    - Money was always earned too easy in the previous titles except for far cry 2, it is more fun when it takes more effort right ? we should get money slowly so we have to work harder to get our favourite weapon.

    - Most of us like a good story, but a good story means: A great villian who is not standard but original, A part where someone dies, someone that we would cry for, Something we did not expect, putting good music in it, like music with alot of feels in it so you would cry everytime, A bad-*** part where we take control, Etc. but we can also try something what we haven't seen yet, but blended with the things above.

    - Most people also like to see something back in Far Cry 5 Related to any other titles, like a main character or an event or anything else. Like Vaas coming back (not from the dead, Jason was on drugs either way so maybe Vaas isn't dead at all) and telling us what has really happened there and saying something like: You know, I played a little game before with a guy from California, and I can tell you right away that you are his little sister. He was just a piece of S**t like you, thinking, *hehehe*, thinking he is stronger than me, but the thing is hermano, the thing is that I could've killed him already, like I did to his little friend.


    There are plenty more things we could add to this list, so if you have any ideas/changes or just want to give your opinion on my ideas/changes, comment below and let us know! (Just stick whith the thread and don't try to change the subject)

    I don't mean to rain on your parade, but please, no dinosaurs, no drugs, and as far as the protagonist goes, my opinion is we need a capable "tough guy" like that implied for the FC2 protagonists.

    I deeply disliked Jason Brody, I'm not alone. Ajay was an improvement, but what a player of this type of game wants (again, IMO) is a character that is assumed to be capable of the type of dirty work that it takes to beat the odds and shine.

    There was a bit of design creativity in Jason developing his skill-set, but the devs didn't put enough effort into playing the concept out in a meaningful way. Beyond that, Jason was a whimp, talked like a whimp, was never able to shake off the whimpiness, and frankly it was near painful to play as him.

    Vaas was great, in many ways he made FC3 the success that it was. But to bring him back would be a cheap shot, and a tacit admission that ideas are hard to come by.

    My biggest thing though is to remove all of the on-screen hand-holding. No reminders, no objective markers, no "tagging", and no "wall-hacks". The screen is for the game, not for a real-time users manual.

    The dinosaurs are not my kind of idea either, I think it will ruin the game, but since alot of people ask for that and Ubi may consider this, atleast they should do it this way if they actualy do this.

    Drugs are standard 2, but if you want to go to another world that would be the best known way to do it right ?

    I actualy liked the Jason Brody Protagonist the most because he was just a normal guy before, not like an us-soldier or something which has been seen almost everywhere! they should reconsider doing that again!

    Vaas was the best character indeed, but when I say bring him back I do not mean just make him the main character again, but he could be there for another reason like they did with Willis Huntley, he threw Jason of the plane and flew straight to the Himalayas and told that to Ajay.

    I agree with the onscreen hud removal and stuff, but since we also have people who can't play like that, they should make an option out of it right at the beggining and not changeable until you restart, and then they should actualy reward you for doing that the hard way, like giving cool extra weapon camo's and a weapon for playing it that way.

    Dinosaurs would fit into certain scenarios, for instance a science-fiction game where you arrive on another planet. But going down the Jurassic Park road - forget it.

    Yes, in FC and other titles it's easy to accumulate cash and possessions. Even with artistic license I wouldn't vote for endless crates full of gear lying around. I'm not that keen on endless shacks without doors waiting to be looted either.

    You reckon most folk want to see something from FC3 or 4 return in FC5? Where do you get that idea? Tell you what, if Brody makes a reappearance I want the option of shooting him dead at the outset.

    Overall I think FC3 and 4 had a lot of merit in terms of graphics and general playability but they overdid the animal bit, the eagles, the signposts every step of the way and the ease with which the game could be completed. IMO it's best to play such games limiting yourself to particular weapons, or without looting, or not fast travelling, etc. You can then make it as difficult as you want and get a challenge instead of a wimpfest. If or when FC5 comes along I'm hoping it will be a departure from 3 and 4. I won't be paying £30+ for more of the same that's for sure.

    FAR CRY IS ABOUT BAD GUYS, NOT GOOD GUYS. If you want to play to explore protagonist. I recommend you to play CALL OF BOOTY OR BOYFRIEND. UBI please keep Far Cry related to antagonist. Thanks!

    I'd like to play a character like the guy of the Last of US or Uncharted.. just my 2 cents
