I really love how people are still oblivious to the fact the the 360 just can't handle the new stuff as well as the current gen consoles.
and another thing, 360 was NEVER promised to be the exact same as the ps4/xbone/pc versions. they all were promised to have 6 dlc's by my and an online multiplayer mode somewhere in between. 360 will get everything it's been promised, don't complain about redlynx not being able to consistently provide content for a console that is now hitting ancient status. I'm pretty sure every update or thing that the guys at redlynx come up with is tested out on the 360 as well as the other consoles, but point is, they probably don't work as well (if at all).
Trials Fusion is ultimately a next generation game. all you 360 users are just going to have to accept that you can only run the game to your consoles capabilities, and can't expect the people at redlynx to put a halt on further production just to provide for an outdated system.
I personally think the updates should just stop for 360 all together, I don't like it hindering progress the game could of been getting, it's gotten everything it's been promised. 360 users will only get annoyed when an update is too powerful for their system, and ps4/xbone/pc users will get even more annoyed if their content is getting delayed so that an undeserving console can be included
TL : DR your console is too outdated to keep up, get over it

It was and Ubisoft/RedLynx decision to publish the game on X360. They sure didn't mind taking the money though, right? So that also brings some responsibility to publish the same content to all platforms when possible. If there's a valid reason, that's ok, but tournaments are already on X360, so I don't see how this couldn't be on X360 as well. It doesn't make any sense that it's because "the HW is old". Just because a game has a release on 360 as well as current gens doesn't entitle it to recieve the same updates and additions that the better consoles are getting. Games like GTA V or Diablo III on last gen consoles don't get anymore updates unlike the current gen counterparts, what makes trials on 360 any more deserving than these games? and although valid excuses are nice to have, they aren't needed, and shouldn't be in this case, Rockstar could of easily added first person gameplay on 360 GTA V, but they didn't, because they want to focus on the more important consoles, and want to progress forward in technology, rather than sit idle.
Get upset all you want, but at the end of the day, the 360 is nearing it's death, I imagine you won't be able to buy games from retail stores within the next year. and will have to resort to places like Gamestop for used (and probably scratched) games.

This thread is about a competition. A tournament. 360 has tournaments, so there shouldn't be a reason why Xbox 360 couldn't be included in the competition
i can understand certain updates may take longer to do on 360, or the 360 may not be able to handle some things that are in the updates, which is why they got left out on fusion, understandable, but not putting 360 in the competition is just stupid. Just like the world trials championship, even though that wasn't redlynx's fault, there was an undeserving winner, as better players couldn't participate, and that is exactly how this is. It's just going to be an undeserving winner who wins. No point in competition if everyone can't compete.

Im on ps4 and from my point of view this is a bad choice and i fully agree with the above post, there should be no reason to hold back 360 players, maybe it should be held back untill 360 have the dlc or something but if i was a top rider i would not be overthrilled about winning a tournoment knowing there could easily be a better rider who wasnt allowed entry

Completely abandoning the 360 and moving all to next gen or continuing to give the 360 as much as possbile within this franchise as it can. I would think the later is the best option and is also a sign that redlynx have tried not to sell the 360 down the river when in a buisness world would have been justified in doing so
You can pick up a 360 for next to nothing now where as the next gen consoles set us back tons so i don't see where missing out on the odd slight things is really a big problem. People choose to stay with 360 and thats entirely up to them but then it has to be kept in mind that they will not get the same as more advanced systems. Think of the new 4k tv channels and netflix. People who perscribe to this channel can download the films yet people who have a 4k tv can also watch thier films in 4k and the same as 3d. Yet everyone pays the same subscription prices.
As much as i feel for people with old tech i dont think for a console that you can swap a few dvds and a packet of crisps for really miss out on that much within this game. At the end of the day nobody paid for the extra content the devs give which is in this case this and nobody paid for single lane mp , that is all optional extra and depends if you have the tools to expect what they give. If you don't then thats nobody's fault other than the gamer.

There is nothing in this game that upon buying the product gives anything different to any console. everyone gets mp everyone gets recommended and the career mode. Everyone gets tc and all its componants. What some peope do get that is extra is single lane mp , things like this tournament and so on but thats nothing to do with the original purchase of the game. It is indeed normal and fine for a company to give extra to the next future of machines and any downloads or extras usually do come in this form be it tv , gaming or an thing regarding tech.
Now to sort out the imput lag on this new 4k tv mmmmm were to put it hahahahaha

Yea, like I said before funktastic, the fact that Xbox 360 doesn't get modes like single lane MP isn't a problem as that is completely understandable as it would take a lot longer to make it work on 360 as it would have to be changed and what not. That is understandable so personally it doesn't bother me that they didn't include some updates.
The only problem I have is that they didn't include Xbox 360 on the tournament (what this thread is 100% about). I remember shifty saying before that it takes just minutes to change the tournaments selection. So why did they miss out 360? Because the new DLC isn't out on 360? Well I'm sure delaying the tournament to make it a fair tournament rather than releasing it when, like Smeghead said, 'knowing there could easily be a better rider who wasn't allowed entry', and making yet another invalid competition and giving someone the prize when they probably wouldn't have got the prize if all consoles were included.

I feel for the 360 players. Heck, I still have lots of friends on the system.
Should this tourny have been on 360? I would have certainly thought so. RTC2 I could understand the omission; either the tracks were too complex, or too much time/manpower would have been needed to optimise the tracks for 360.
I upgraded myself personally, because I was fed up of having what felt to me like half a game. There are a lot who still enjoy Fusion on 360, that's their choice and fair play to them. I didn't.
Trials is my go-to game. I play little else, so going next gen to get the best out of the game was a necessity, for me. Not everyone on 360 is in a position to do that, or would even want to.
I guess my main point is that if the 360 can accommodate the tourny's, then they should have the chance to be able to participate.

( whats the stand for dude ? ) and very true bud and saying all that it would annoy me also but i would imagine there is a bigger reason for not involving 360 , maybe they should be alittle more quicker to answer although im not sure with it being the weekend they reply to post or are even at the office. Part timers i think haha.
Good point about the tournament and there being better riders , i my self have had ago and im way way down the bottom , forgetting about tech and reasons of that kind , there doesnt seem to be a plauseable answer to why it could not have waited till the 360 got the dlc especially with it being delayed. although i have noticed that shogun does try and incorporate the 360 as he did with the last comp. Maybe he will also add another or give the 360 their own tourny once its out. My post wasnt meant in a bad way or nothing and like i said i would no doubt be felt wrongly treated as i did when they supplied the pc with the beta for mp and not all comsoles. Infact i have seen not recently the pc complaining about not being on the streams hahah like they dont get enough special treatment with extra editor tools and things always being adopted to the pc first.
I would wait awhile for a reply from shogun as i doubt they would leave the 360 out for no reason , makes no sense if there is no tech reason why , mainly in numbers and gaining playability to do amongst all gamers and consoles

Cant agree with most wouldnt want to - its hardly next gen any more , more rather this gen really and moving platforms is really a choice but a need to stay within all up to date features. Meaning everything else that comes with the ps4 or x1 not just this game. I suppose im looking at it from a piece of hardware and part of the entertainment package point of view other than a box on the bedroom floor. The need to move over is massive , for films for media or even social media now in which most young lad/ girls tend to spend thier time soley doing. 2014 sony tv k8 has even got a social media feature where you open it and follower other who are watching the same program as ur self. In terms of what these consoles and new tech can do make old appliances look like caveman tools where as a few years back the gap would be alot wider and the use of previous gadgets would still be useful.
As for cant afford it , lol comm on what people cant afford isnt really what they tend to spend. Even most dolies walk around with the iphone these days. I live in one of the poorest towns in the uk and there is some who is genuienly poor but most still manage to have internet , cars , nice flat big tvs , and so on. Even though they might not have windows or walk around in rags. With credit and loan shark firms there is an abundent flow of tech around this really poor city and none of it anyone can really afford but they still have it. I would hazard a guess that the only ppl who choose not to have the new tech are the minors where the parents want the money for something else. Dollies get paid enuogh to buy a ps4 or an xbox 1 , maybe single people may struggle to buy these but there is always means an ways to equire something off the back of a lorry hahaha...
