Been back on Evo Gold the last couple days since it wouldn't work for ages. Forgot how much grip the Phoenix has.Originally Posted by Jongie Go to original post

Of course there is going to be a season 2. The name of the achievement for finishing all the tracks on this last DLC is "the end?". Unless they are trolling thats about as obvious as you can get for teasing season 2.
I also think its the reason they havent released any new bikes, and no new outfits. They are probably saving that stuff to include with the season 2 pass. It also explains why all of a sudden they have uncharacteristically been aggressively updating their game this first quarter with all the multiplayer and track central improvements.. They are gearing up to try to sell more content.
There is definitely going to be a season 2 of DLC. I suspect they are waiting until the 15th so they can announce it on the 1 year anniversary.

If you sell 50k passes @$20. That's a million net. It's much easier than developing a new game, which I'm sure they may also be doing. $20 for the content given is quite a value, but getting 6 trials tracks the first dlc didn't sit well with most. I would have considered phrasing it different. 6 x 8 trials tracks average...just advertise 50 trials tracks, 6 skill, 6 FMX...for just $20. Given in 6 installments...
Season 2 would be welcomed. Take that right into the Fusion 2 launch...perfect. I would also launch future dlc with xcross tracks and improve mp and modes, incorporate user tracks.
New outfits, new bikes, maybe a new mode.
Oh yeah, that's better than what I've been speculating since the Riders in the Rustlands announcement (the first instance I saw Season 1 mentioned) that they will just continue to add more content to make this a gigantic game over the next 3 years or so. I think it would be great if they are simultaneously developing a new game and putting out DLC. It's not inconceivable since many other studios are often working on the next big game before the current one even releases.
I'm all for a Season 2, but I also don't want it to take anything away from the next game. If I had the choice of one more year of DLC, or stretch that same amount over two years, I'm going with the latter. The more time Redlynx gets to perfect and master the next game, the better. I can only imagine how hard it is to simultaneously develop for four platforms, so I want to give them as much time as needed.
Also, if there is a Season 2, perhaps we could get a menu re-design or some form of a User Interface change? A new font is what I'm ideally thinking, with some color changes on the menus. Not a complete menu overhaul, keep the same layout, but give the design a fresh look
This is an excellent idea to market Season 2. Saying "50 Tracks" versus "8-10 Tracks" just sounds so much better, even if you include the words "Spread out over a year". I would bet a lot more people would be hooked if they heard 50 over 6I would have considered phrasing it different. 6 x 8 trials tracks average...just advertise 50 trials tracks, 6 skill, 6 FMX...for just $20. Given in 6 installments...
Yea the DLC is a good value, and im looking forward to a season 2. Its just the EVO DLC was an incredible value, so it felt like a bit of a downgrade. But you are right that creating a handful of editor objects and tracks really cant cost them much money at all. Even a modest population still playing is probably sufficient to justify season 2.Originally Posted by VEGASTRASH Go to original post
Although, it would not surprise me if season 2 doesnt make its way to xbox 360.
