    Kyrati Wildlife

I know most of us have at least grumbled (or perhaps even used some unChristianly language ) about the omnipresent hostile wildlife in Kyrat. Eagles and rhinos being a couple of the more unpopular species. Check out the link below on a real rhino rampage in Nepal (Kyrat's real life doppelganger).............not nearly as funny when there's no respawn or replay sad to say!

I may be wrong of course but I have yet to read or hear that Eagles have attacked people anywhere in the World. Wolves for the most part do not like to interact with people, yet, in Kyrat it seems they go out of their way to look or attack you. Rhinos and the Cows/Bulls (forgot their name) are one of the most tranquil animals, unless of course you piss them off LOL

In the grand scheme of things and because this is a video game, I am for that but they should have toned it down a bit. One of the things I enjoyed in FC3 was the ability to walk the world and enjoy it, here, it feels more like a chore but again... it is probably just me.

Damn that thing has some speed on it for a fat guy. If I had been there I could have advised them how to kill it.

I don't think that Bull-Shotgun would have done the trick in real life LOL

1 attack in 1985 and probably because the kids were pestering the eagle or near its nest, then, 2 more cases in Alaska in 2010, again, near their nest but ok... I stand corrected, eagles go on a rampage attacking humans.

    There... you have vindicated UBI

Then again... I can also use google to contradict it http://www.quora.com/Do-eagles-reall...e-in-Far-Cry-4

https://answers.yahoo.com/question/i...7173718AApTzML ... oh and before you post that youtube video, it is fake LOL

dude i have had red tailed hawks dive bomb me as well as osprey if i get to close to the nest why hunting in the spring

i had a golden eagle swoop down on me too just a few years ago when bass fishing when i got too close to its nest

birds of prey will protect the nest from anything if they have young ..hell even blue jays will dive bomb you ..same with owls ..don't believe it ...?

fine ...go out this spring to a blue jays nest when it has babies in it .. you'll see .. BTW .............wear a hat !

    LOL

Understand... Animals will attack to protect their nest, even the smallest animal will.

Being said that... they don't naturally go on a human rampage and attack anywhere else, let alone in the middle of a forest where Eagles don't normally have their nest. I don't mind the occasional attack but again, it seems like they go out of their way to do so. There are shark attacks on human every year, yet, people that study sharks will tell you that humans are not usually shark prey.

I call that LAZY programming or design, mostly to keep kids entertain while you travel from point A to point B. Mature adults (since the game is rated R) don't need to be taken by the hand either by the common annoyances posted on other threads or constant eagle attacks... that was my point/

Yea, we've got quite a Bald Eagle (as well as other eagle species, hawks, & owls) population in my state. Take my word for it........................they definitely like forest as a habitat. Darn glad we don't have any rhinos though. I'd have to go around with a back pack full of apples and carrots to throw out as a distraction technique every time I was getting chased! I can only imagine the Postal Service reaction; Hey! If you got a unleashed dog or rhino......................our mail carriers don't have to deliver your mail! So keep'em indoors I can only imagine what the carpet would look like !

Nice tip about wearing a hat though............................I'll try that the next time I'm playing (assuming Ubi ever fixes this last batch of SLI/shadow related of "technical excellence").
