    Season Pass Fix

    So I'm not sure if anyone else is getting upset with Ubisoft. I know I'm feed up with how they are handling the season pass problems. For those who don't know , some of the console gamers are having problems downloading the last two dlc. We are unable to download it without paying. Now the problem it self can't be helped. It takes a lot of work to go through all the code and find out why we are unable to get the dlc, I understand that. What is upsetting me is how they are handling it. Both my friend and I have messaged ubisoft about the problem only to receive a copy and paste message. Which is as follows

    We are aware that some customers are having difficulty in downloading the content with the Season Pass for Far Cry 4. Please rest assured this issue is being addressed right now, and we expect it to be corrected as soon as possible. We would like to get some information to report to the development team. Please reply back with the following information:

    1) Did you ever receive a prompt allowing you to download the content?
    2) If you check the News Feed Wall at the bottom of the main menu, do you see the DLC listed here? If so, you can "purchase" it for free.

    Please let us know the answer to these questions and we will continue to look into the issue. Thank you for your patience


    That is the message most people received I assume. Which is fine they need to know this information to assess the problem, but after my friend and I both messaged them they give us another copy and paste message.

    We have forwarded the information that you have provided to us. We currently do not have an ETA for when the development team will get back to us. Keep an eye on the Far Cry 4 Facebook, Twitter and Forums for any further updates.

    Now it might just be me but I haven't seen any sort of updates for the problem on any of these social networks. At most they say "sorry for the problem, we are currently working on it". So personally this just feels like a giant f@#* you. I'm mean we have paid for the service and not only can we not use it, but we can't even get a ETA or some sort of update telling us were they are at in regards to the problem. Couldn't they at least give the people who took the time to discuss the problem in full a code for the missing DLC? Not that everyone doesn't deserve to get what they paid for, but we have taken the time to give personal information to verify that we have purchased the DLC. I thing that in it's self deserves a DLC code or something.

    i'm right there with you i got those replys word for word. i'm thinking of just telling them to either give me a personal download code for Yeti's or pay me back for what i paid for the Season Pass and i'll use that money to buy the damn thing

    Sam thing. Purchased, messages and all. Exact same issues and this is getting beyond ridiculous. If they're not going to put in the effort to help the people who already paid for DLC what the hell are they doing.

    Asked for refund

    Well after getting fed up with how Ubisoft is handling this issue I requested a refund for the season pass. They sent me this message.

    "Unfortunately, we cannot supply a refund for a purchase that has been processed successfully. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Below is a link if you have any questions about the Uplay Shop's refund policies."


    They proceeded to send me a link to the refund policy. After reading it I found that they could in fact refund my purchase but just refused to. So I messaged them back with the refund policy in my message. For those who don't know Ubisoft does have strict refund policies and even state that they can't refund DLC, but then they have this exact sentence at the end of the policy. " Ubisoft reserves the right, however, to offer refunds under exceptional circumstances at its sole discretion". I continued to message them back asking them what they considered an exceptional circumstance, and also asking why they just don't give out some DLC codes to fix the problem. Yet again I get another answer that left me confused and left with a feeling of helplessness.

    "I have searched our store for the email used on this account and there is no purchase made with our Uplay Store for this product we suggest contacting the vendor form which you bought the DLC from to seek a refund. Since the purchase was not made with our Uplay store we do not have your money to refund you for this purchase"

    So with all this information I've come to the conclusion that Ubisoft really doesn't care about our situation. All that they care about is taking our money and keeping it at any cost. Why else would they tell us that we can't be refunded when it clearly says in the policy that they can. Even though I haven't been refunded yet because I've purchased the season pass through the Xbox, they clearly know that we deserve a refund and hope that we don't fight for our right to the content we paid for. They never bother to comment on why we can't be sent DLC codes either. This only supports my conclusion, and shows that even when they can clearly fix the problem they rather silence the people pointing the problem out.

    I'm now trying to contact Xbox support to get the refund I crave so badly. I imagine I'll just be sent in another loop but here goes nothing. I will update this forum when I get more information from the Xbox 360 support team. I'm sorry for all of you who are going through the same thing and I hope we can get a resolution to this problem soon.

    By the sounds of it they're checking your Uplay Store, on your account.

    Whereas you've clearly said you're on console.
