Replay Challenge Round 3 Paintover Revealed
It's been one week since the submission period on the Replay Challenge 3 ended. Early last week Art Lead Ville Anttonen had a look over the submissions and picked one to paint. Without further ado, here is your winning screenshot from morfyboy.
Of course picking the winner was just the beginning. After making his selection Ville took some time off from his daily tasks to do a awesome digital paintover of the image. We hope morfyboy will be pleased with the results.
And finally, lets hear a few words from the artist himself:
"Morfyboy's image had a really nice magical, dark mood in it and there was the snow element which we haven't had in the previous challenges. Also, the spiky rocks in the background and glowing veins on the rock inspired me. All in all lots of nice elements in there but the same time I thought the image might need some variation colorwise. That's why I started playing with some hot and cold confrontation by introducing a flowing lava element in the painting. This way we can also increase the feeling of danger which is of course an essential part of our Trials rider's short life. I also tried to push some more depth to the background in this pretty straightforward side view camera angle. To add a little story element I painted in those ominous penguins planning their next move."

Wow.. I'm amazed at how different, and better it looks.. Brilliant work Ville.. Thanx guys.. Defos gunna use this as screen savers, and more.. 
Took me a few minutes to spot those pesky penguins.. Lol. Nice touch..

This whole contest was RIGGED obviously.
Ha. Just kiddin, too bad i had forgotten about this whole thing. I had some good ideas in mind, might save em for next time.

Ville, or Shifty- if i upload a screenshot that i want to be made into a signature for this forum, would Ville be willing to retouch it for me? I know it defeats the purpose of this contest, but the artwork is very impressive and i think he should do this for more people (for signature purposes only)- or maybe a hi-res wallpaper, something like that.
Edit- nevermind im just basically asking you to hand over the next contest v4 to me lol. But maybe something to consider? i use several other forums and don't really have a good sig. This should be taken advantage of.
