What the bloody hell is going on with that game and ubisoft in generall ? Is it ok these days to totaly piss on the customers who put their faith in ubisoft since we bought their product and iam the only one thinking that it canīt continue the way like ubisoft did on 2k14 with all their crap ports , AC Unity , Watch Dogs to mention two of them . I run my GTX 980 with a selfmade custom bios highly overclocked 1574/2000 for 24/7 and watercooled ( max around 40 degrees , average more like 30-36 ) and i have no problem with pretty much any game whatsoever . Since some time , maybe when the last patch was released ? I get crashes every 20 minutes at its worst state . To eleminate the fact that this could be do tue my custom bios and overclock i reinstalled the stock bios and also run the game on stock clockspeeds , again same s*** as be4 .
I intend to take every opportunity to tell people who have problems running Far Cry 4 to please raise a ticket with customer support. I am not saying that you haven't, but those who are having problems with crashes and such-like are going to read and relate to this post and it is so important that THEY inform Ubisoft of their own issues. Ubisoft need to know the magnitude of the problem. Thank you.

First of all, I totally agree that this situation is unacceptable and Ubi and nVidia MUST put their best effort to fix it ASAP.
But meanwhile you can try to do something yourself...
This issue goes way back to the days of patch 1.6.0, when significant part of Maxwell cards owners started to experience frequent random crashes with newer nvidia drivers...
This issue was mostly fixed with 1.7/1.8 patch, but 1.9 along with newest nvidia drivers seems to broke something again and brought this back to some 970/980 users (I'm not talking about SLI owners - all of them are suffering right now).
Some players reported that rolling back to some older version of the driver significantly reduced or in some cases even fixed entirely their crashes. I remember one particularly that went back as far as to 344.75. BTW, that's the driver version I still use myself with no issues (although I have 780 TI and not 970/980). More recent drivers simply brought no improvements or fixes to the games I play in last several months, that's why I didn't update to any of them...![]()
That strange ,I might be the one without any issues , I never experienced any problems with the Nvidia drivers .Originally Posted by akunamatataa Go to original post
At the beginning I had problem witch cause games to crash , but after some digging I traced problem to Bios and memory frequency settings.
From that moment I had not problems at all , except some minor glitches witch have been polished by latest patches .
That goes for ACU as well .
Hello there. Yes I am aware that you have taken the trouble to address my problem for which i am extremely grateful. I have now written again to customer support, 'the experts' asking them to confirm your diagnosis. If they do say that my graphics card is not supported I will be asking them as to why they have changed their mind. I basically asked them the same question over two months ago, to which they said it WAS supported.Originally Posted by WID992007 Go to original post
In this instance I am merely reminding/suggesting that people should raise support tickets to officially let Ubisoft know of their problems and not to just write about them in the forum.
That's all, just trying to do my bit.
Once again WID992007, thank you.![]()
