    Thanks to MartyTheMerc...

It's been quite some time since I fired up FC2, but thanks to the link you provided, I did, and its like spending time with an old friend.

To be honest, it was a bit of a challenge getting used to the comparatively lackluster textures (especially tree trunks and their shapes), but the gameplay on Infamous is treacherous.

I guess I got used to being comparatively immune to enemy fire in FC3/FC4, when they are on you in FC2, you better do something RIGHT NOW, or you are toast.

Anyway, this will be a nice change, and when I finish up again I'll give FC3 a run with the fresh backdrop of FC2 for comparison.

Is this in reference to a recently completed walkthrough that's available for viewing on youtube ... ???

And speaking of FC3, will it be the vanilla release, or one that has been modded?

Yep, apparently he redid them all in 1920x1080. Seems to have a little bit of an encoding problem, seems to stutter some, but its like glass on my system.

Vanilla FC3, I never do mods.

    I thought so ...

Also runs like like glass on mine. What a blast. Until I also just finished, I was playing FC2, -3, and -4.

I switched over to Ziggy's mod some time ago, and have never gone back to vanilla. Simply a yawning for something more challenging, and a different structure.
