    Arrows to Bolts

Question. When you reach the point where you can use "Bolts" instead of "Arrows", it's default is "Bolts", correct??

    Thank You.

Didin't quite catch your question. Bolts and arrows are used in different weapons.

It's really no big issue. When you start out using the "Bow" you use "Arrows". As one progresses through the game, the Arrow, (The Tip) becomes a "Bolt". (Bolt tip Arrow has three razor sharp blades that makes up the tip) You might be thinking that the Bolts are for the Harpoon weapon which fires Harpoons. Again, no big deal. I just wanted to know if I had a choice to switch mack to the basic Tip on the arrow to make the game much more challenging.

The bolts are for the small pistol (autocross) that shoots bolts and not for the bow (and available later in the game). At least that is how it works in this game.

OK, that's what I thought. It's just at the start of the game when you use the "Arrow's" there a "Simple" two blade tip. At least that's what I remember. Thank you for the info and pointing that out...

Also note that there are two kinds of bows in the game. Hunter Bow uses "two blade tips" and Recurve Bow uses "three blade tips".

As stated, auto-cross uses bolts and harpoon also has it's own ammo.

LOL, funny you should say that Ranger because at first I too was thrown off by the arrow vs bolt thing. For some reason I thought they were talking about a 4 blade broadhead vs 2, even though I knew what the difference between a bolt and an arrow was. It just didn't click for some reason because I forgot they added the Autocross, which, let's face it, its a very fakey weapon.
