If you're rank 1 or 2, don't worry about losing the Showdown if you encounter me. I will let you win. Although, if I offer ping-pong, I would rather have you to accept it than going all in.

Not sure what's different about this season, but it seems like a TON of legends are still going all out against me when I'm still rank 1 or 2. Using a whole bunch of golden tickets and everything to beat me. Not that I always expect a free win against them since they can do what they want, but probably a good 75% of legends I've played over the past five days or so have really put time, effort, and tickets into beating me.

I've been handing out 3-6 free wins a day for the last few days (recently got there) and have only been matched with non-legends a total of 3 times. And you can tell by how cautious they are that they are not trusting the win..... One guy didn't take any track at all until the last 3 minutes. . .(I hate seeing all those unplayed chips go to waste. . .)

I'm becoming a legend currently rank2 with needed showdowns will finish within 1hour. I started 50 showdowns to help people within ranks 4-1 to reach legends.
Too bad, i had set my showdowns too shot timescale, so I couldn't do this in rank3, when no legend would match up.

So if you are willing to get free win, start showdown now, I still have some 25 showdowns waiting for opponent.
