refresh rate problems from cumulus cloud effect

I'm trying to make a nebula effect in my space game using cumulus clouds, and it looks great. However at around the 2 minute mark, the clouds fade away. Then at 3 minutes, they pop back, refreshed. Needless to say this is an unacceptable distraction. I haven't been able to find a straightforward way to trick the clouds into always staying full.

    Does anyone have any solutions?

How about 2 copies of these clouds, with one disabled until about 1:30?

I would like to do that, however, the fade of the clouds, oddly, does not seem to be at perfectly timed intervals. Using this swapping method would ultimately get sloppy, and I know I'd screw it up.

You know what, I wanted to avoid it, but I think I'm just going to have to use like 15 sets of clouds and enable a new one every 2 or so minutes, hiding the old ones. :/ so much work for such a simple thing

And thanks for the reply. Nice seeing you around jolan, it's been a while since I've talked trials with you. I miss Xbox, ps4 is lonely

My nebulae isn't as detailed as yours sounds. I just fiddled with the cloud and sky settings :P.

Haha. I laugh at even considering my colored cumulus clouds detailed by any stretch of the imagination. But yeah, I went for a fantastical multicolored nebulae eye orgy.
