    Everything SLI related is broken in FC4

    My pc is 2600k, p67, 32gb 2133, 2x gtx 670, revodrive x2 100gb.
    I play at 1440p, and many other games work fine with sli and I have a decent frame rate at maximum settings.

    However, FC4 is another case.
    In SLI, frame rate is high at 1440p maxed out settings, but:
    SSBC causes ghosting, SMAA gives nothing, and HBAO+ gives a noticeable fps drop with gtx 670
    SMAA causes ghosting, 2x MSAA gives nothing, and everything else give a huge fps drop with gtx 670
    No depth of field effect (distance blur)
    Also enabled non-nvidia Fur is blurry

    Summed up, at previous version i was able to play at 1440p with maxed out settings, 2x MSAA and HBAO+ at 50-60fps.
    Graphics were at least acceptable.

    But now with the last patch game is unplayable. Yes, flickering. Going windowed and back helps for 10-15 minutes and then hello again, epilepsy and eye bleeding.


    So, I tried running game on just one gtx 670, and oh god, the game is beautiful with working depth of field, SMAA and SSBC!
    However, 30fps with just is unplayable.


    I have a favor to ask, while you are looking into flickering problem, maybe you can also try and fix SSBC, SMAA, and other visuals for SLI?

    Alt+enter and then restarting game after 15 minutes, because flickering won't go away anymore, is not a solution.
    And playing on one videocard is neither. Which is what you get playing windowed. You basically disable second card at that time.
    Just disabling SLI and playing fullscreen gives you more fps, than going windowed with SLI..

    And if you read my post, you could notice that it's not about flickering. I am asking developers to also look into SMAA and SMBC problem with SLI.

    Alt+enter doesn't work for me either, makes me woozy tryng to play this way, and I also get constant game crashes trying to join Co-op games. This newest patch has screwed the game bad

    i would say to submit a support ticket on Ubi's support site. do i think Ubi is responding to individual tickets? pfffffttahahahahaaa.

    do i think Ubi will have no choice but to respond to hundreds or even thousands of tickets reporting SLI problems? i hope so.

    I think the main problem is that Ubi itself is now completely broken and cannot make a game without huge piles of problems and issues anymore. Then after the game is out and hype machine has finally died down, they don't have the ability to fix it. Not that they won't fix it, but they really can't. The people there now probably didn't even write the original code.
