    Ok all you Jug jocks out there. Lets take stock of where we are and where we want to go.
    1. Dive acceleration=fixed
    2. zoom climb= acceptable
    3. .50 cals=yesssssssss
    4. roll rate=fixed
    5. M or N model..I wish
    6. G-suits....if we could show Oleg enough documentaton
    7. K-14 site....with the M or N model
    8. a redo of the cockpit to fix minor problems and bring it up to the newer pits.

    What else am I missing???

    Also had dive breaks and D-22 had paddle blade prop and I've done my own tests which convinced me that the increased climb rate is not modelled. Don't forget HVARs on the D-40. I'm thinking I read in Flight Journal or somewhere the D-25 had K-14...I could be wrong, but for some reason that sticks in my mind

    Hey a D-40 Jug sounds good.

    At this point, an upgraded cockpit sounds really good. We know it was about 75% complete and it looks only average compaired to its contemporaries. I hear that was under construction anyways so thats ok.

    Overall, she's quite good now. Exactly what it should be really. Best roll is at 250 mph with lessened roll on either side...which is correct as far as I know. Its still not a super fighter and nor should it be. It was big and heavy and it did what it was supposed to.

    You can never have too many Jug threads!

    1. Give the option to take Extra .50 ammo along with any of the ordinance combinations.

    2. Take the 1000lber off the centerline position.

    3. New or freshened up cockpit. Icefire is right that it's kind of average.

    4. Give the option to remove the wing hardpoints to clean up the airflow some.

    5. Spend some polys on a proper gunsight.

    .....and...

    if they don't get around to any of these I will still have the most fun in the Jug. Seems like a worthwhile time investment though, considering Pacific Fighters.
