We had multiple betas for Fusion and there have been quite a few recent Ubisoft games that have also had multiple betas.Originally Posted by Retribution Go to original post
We also had the Track Jam where builders had access to the editor for about 60hrs. The main thing, in regards to the "little" stuff, is that it can take a lot of hours to find. This is especially true in the editor. When you have something as versatile as the Trials Editor then there are bound to be things that players find that were never looked at by a QA/Testing because they simply never thought to chain things like a player has.
We're talking more than billions of possible combinations and permutations of just logic chains in the editor. You spend enough time in the editor and you WILL find a way to break things.
wipfeed
i would like to see a possibility to publish to a WIP-Feed
the feed should have a comment section and a 5 star* rating-system.

invisible=solid
please make it so that we can have an option to make invisible objects solid,
custom collision are great but it would speed up the building process if this was possible (at least for the messy way i build)
invisible = solidOriginally Posted by fleskeknoke Go to original post
you mean setting invisible items to contact response Instead of default physics state?
Also.. WIP thread..great idea in theory
but.. people already upload what ever they want to I correct feeds
E.g skill games to SX'S feed
unfortunately people are rubbisb
Obviously I'd like to see myself in charge of hard tracks... I mean, I'm terrible at making easy, medium and extremes but I feel like I have a real bond with hard tracks. Like, hard tracks could be my first wife... and maybe extremes would be that second wife that I don't bother with the church or ceremony and just have a cookout with a few friends after the nuptials are complete.
Hey, it could work, screw you for judging me!!!![]()
Oh damn.... i never even tryed that until now.. hahaOriginally Posted by Meenie77 Go to original postit works ...haha... THANK YOU
Yeah i know people sucks, but even so... i would think some people would use a wip-feed.Originally Posted by Meenie77 Go to original post
I think it could help not only for getting feedback on unfinished tracks from riders/builders
but also it would play a small part in keeping TC even better/tidier.
I would love to have a place like that to ask for feedback before publishing to the "main"-TC.

edit:
and i would like to see...
start-bike
an option to tick a box in the settings to choose my default bike which then would be pre-selected for everything,
like testing tracks in the editor, riding tc, and in-game tracks....
I used to test databases When I was done with my testing (I would test obvious things and worst-case-scenario things) I would then employ others to test in a pseudo-production scenario. They would rarely find things wrong (granted, few were equipped to understand what they were testing). However, once the database would go live, day one, something would be wrong and it was always something stupid and rare that no one would ever look for.Originally Posted by RoguishRonin Go to original post
I think RedLynx has been good at looking for the stupid and rare, but there are tons of people out there doing stupid (not in a bad way) and rare things that no team of testers would even consider. We are lucky in this generation we can submit bug reports and have our software fixed (providing you submit a detailed enough report). Instead of complaining and assuming incompetence, submit a detailed bug report to have it fixed. Feel important that you have found a rare glitch and have influenced an update that helps us all.
EDIT: I was actually trying to stand up for RedLynx (still am), but now that I think about it, it does sort of confirm expanded beta testing. I'm not sure how you'd go about doing so past what you've already done, but considering the complexity and near infinite possibilities with the editor, maybe these folks are right.
Yes, I'm with Venomz on this. No helicopters or aircraft carriers.Originally Posted by NSPIV Go to original post
