Brilliant idea! And I think the next DLC will really be apocalyptic, even more so than Fire in the Deep. The teaser image appears potentially apocalyptic it is called "After the Incident."

Also, regarding my earlier post about seasons, this is from the Empire in the Sky announcement blog post on the RedLynx site: "There are 4 more DLC packs planned for Trials Fusion's first season." [bold: mine]

I know I've played it (OlliOlli) and... soooooooo frustrating. I think the biggest cause of my frustration is the slow restart time (Trials has me spoiled on this) when a run can end in 2 seconds.

@empeecee - I made a post a while back (different thread) about how many things from the Fusion suggestion thread were included. It was quite a bit, sir. Like 40 things from the first few pages of that thread. There is no way that every suggestion can be put into a game, especially when some of them are opposing ideas, but it wasn't ignored.

I think we can all agree that tire glitches (going through geometry & clipping on smooth geometry) are one of the biggest causes of frustration for players, and that's something that everyone on the teams is aware of.

Yep, there are certainly some things Trials does far better than OlliOlli. What I want is the addiction factor OlliOlli gives me in FMX. No idea how that could be implemented, though.

For me, cross platform TC and MP on release are top of the list if tire glitches can be removed without affecting the physics that we're used to then do that too

A trigger and spawn box that is attatched to the checkpoints.
Where you place this box is excactly where the cp gets triggered, you will also spawn where that box is located.
This would be especially helpful on cp's placed on steep inclines. as it is now you often have to ride quite a bit past
the cp to get it to trigger.

A replay option in the editor.
This would be valuable when polishing your track, you could really focus on the background and details
if you could sit back and relax, watching a replay of yourself testdriving your creation.

orientation of objects based on other objects placement
it would be great if we could choose an object and then click on another object in the track
and that action would make the first object align it self in the world relative to the second object.

Someone told me about the thread The FOZ opinions thread, I wanted to reply in that but it seems it got locked and the boat has sailed with that one.

But here is a good place as any to post my thoughts and I'll tie this reply into the OP.

So to quote something that was said:

However, a bunch of other people is very loud and extremly toxic. The only complain I would have is that the first group of people named rarely tries to mitigate/shut down the second one, and at the end, the community of the forum is not really welcoming, making it hard for newcomers to be integrated. We are all responsible for this massive fail.
I'll be the first to admit i'm not really active on these forums, and its not because of anything that happens here. Iv'e just never been much of a reader, i'm more the sort of person who like to express themselves vocally, I haven't read a single book since leaving school and that pretty much sums it up for me. Regardless I do come once or twice a week and am always hearing second hand through other people watching my twitch streams things that's are happening here on the forums.

Here is what I want to see if there is a new trials game and to me this is one of the most important things.

I want to see these forums become much more welcoming for new players, And before you guys say I'm stating something that has already been said or that I'm taking sides. I'm not taking sides but I am reiterating that point. I like to see myself as an individual in this community who likes to be afloat in the mix, around everyone. Someone who wants to be friends to everyone who loves this game and the community and is passionate about helping and encouraging new players to the franchise.
I want to see feedback/suggestions given on new games in a more healthy light, In a way that makes this forum a more pleasurable experience for everyone.

I understand some of the disappointment or frustration that came from the transition from Evolution to fusion. Believe me I do, having the most playtime on trials evolution (xbox&Pc) I do understand a lot of opinions hardcore fans of the previous game have.

Yes Fusion has different feeling bikes, Yes Fusion has a technical bike that is not quite as flexible as previous games, Yes fusion has new bikes, Yes fusion has some less congested lines that reward the bikes in the game and is different to evolutions congested lines. Yes fusion has changes from evolution in terms of tournaments, multiplayer and leaderboards.

But do any of these things make it a bad game or something that should only be compared to previous games?

What does fusion have that previous game haven't had? Fusion has; New bikes, A better track central system, A wider variety of game types I for one like fmx and all the whacky skill games, I also love the panda. The story and announcers. Challenges are amazing, Ninja Feeds in TC, 8 lane supercross, Portals to Ninja tracks. There are so much additions to this game that have been wonderful.

I think its more fair to look at fusion as its own game and not constantly compare it to previous trials titles

Don't get me wrong as a hardcore fan of the series myself I would agree with some of the feedback that has been given on these forums since the launch of the game. Not having HC public multplayer with leaderboards or Static tournaments to name a couple.

BUT Here is the bacon though, I seriously do not agree or like the manner in which some of these opinions have been given here in the past. Looking at the wider picture here we are extremely fortunate to have the level of interactivity that we do with the game developers and people around the game developers, sure it may not be what it once was I know this but I would attribute a lot of that to things that have happened here. It pains me to see the way that some of us use the privilege of having the developers interact with us here, I do not want to see any more of them pushed away.

    The best way we as fans, addicts, and lovers of the games can take advantage of the developers and staff in and around these forums going into future games;
By giving our feedback and thoughts, concerns or even disappointment but give it in a way that is healthy to these forums, be friendly to the developers and staff, explain our feedback in ways that isn't completely blunt and outright anything from constructive or positive.
If I was a developer, producer or any type of employee I know I would like to come here and be able to look at the community's thoughts or feelings bad or good and have a overall experience that is pleasant and something that would make me want to come to and from these forums without a second thought about it.

There is nothing wrong with feedback of any nature, Lets just in the future make it constructive, positive and be friendly to everyone around here.
This to me is something that would greatly benefit this forum, And I would love to see it more.

For the benefit of all future games, Hardcore fans, Redlynx employees and new players to trials who come across these forums.

Wow, Blaze, excellent post! I completely agree. I think these forums have had a permanent residence on a browser tab since the couple months before Fusion released and I was quite active in that period through the first few weeks Fusion was released. I politely battled the negative posts for a bit, but it got to the point where I had to be drunk to actually respond. It's now probably been more than a year since the forums have taken permanent residence among my browser tabs (only otherwise reserved for my e-mail and RSS feed). I've watched developer participation drop drastically, and it didn't take long either. The self-entitled posts became the norm and really did make these forums unbearable. I still kept looking for news and posts worth reading almost daily, but that became scarce. Really, how many posts do we need saying that this game sucks (even though you have 50+ hours logged) or demanding multi-player?

For those self-entitled requesting release dates, read Microsoft's excellent post on why they don't provide release dates for new builds of Windows 10. The devs and community managers here have said similar things, but sadly, due to much of the community's petty demands, they have had to take a defensive position. Don't get me wrong, I like news. I like ballpark figures, and because of you, I no longer get ballpark figures on when I can expect the next feature update or DLC.

Thank you, Blaze, for this post. I think this really reinvigorated me and I may just hop on here more (even whilst sober) and battle the nonsense and continue promoting positivity toward the franchise.

What I would like to see

To reiterate previous points (These surely have to be priority for all players)
    - Tire glitches removed, first and foremost or at least significantly reduced
    - Cross platform LB's
    - Cross platform TC
each of these points will open the game up massively to new and established players.

I can appreciate that the top tier players will argue that leader board Integrity should also be in there, and it definitely needs to adressed.
I also appreciate the need for a dedicated in ninja feed

    In terms of MP
Regarding a new feature as mentioned by Blaze above

I maybe the only one, but I feel it's a tad unnesacery... its essentially singlelane MP against 7 ghosts but not allowed on single lane customs or in game tracks (which is what people actually want)
what I feel SXS has done is to fracture the custom feeds even more and to be honest may become redundant once 8 player single lane online is introduced, it's also made TC even more cluttered now it has it's own feed and now that we have skill games AND FMX as seperate feeds... sometimes, less is more.

New MP features I'd like to see in place are:
    - local and on line At launch is essential
    - online MUST include both single lane and Supercross
    - gameplay tweaking options in the MP lobby such as engine power, day/night, whether option presets.. etc..
    - single lane MP to be 8 player (minimum.. and I appreciate mord could affect performance)

    A super cross revamp
    - SX local to remain the same
    - SX online to be 8 players across 4 lanes. This would allow a party of 4 local players to race another party of 4 online players so you reap the benefits of playing alongside your mates at Home whilst also competing online (each local player would have 1 ghost on each lane) This could be any number of combinactions E.g 2 local players online against 3 solos players and another party of 3 playing locally... or merely 8 players all playing solo online.
    - Tie this Into teams/gangs/clans whatever you want call it and include weekly SX online solo challenges and group challenges.

This would help keep SX, as a game mode, more relevant and more widely used without the need for a whole other set of tracks/another feed etc..
