    Uplay Recommended Track Drop #37

Another week, another round of Uplay Recommended tracks directly from the community to your fingertips. Let’s cut the mustard and jump right in!

    ~ENNIVRANCE~ By x KaiLiMAN x
I may not be exactly sure what kind of fantastical theme is happening here, but it’s definitely a fantasy thing. Mossy rocks, cave pieces, glowing primes, flower-esque mushrooms? It’s all here, but the awesome part is that it all fits together. The line here flows really well, the ramps look like bound bamboo, and the line is flowy and smooth. This whole track feels really well realized, and I had a blast going for platinum.

Check out the video, but make sure to play KaiLiMAN’s track on Track Central.

604 Apocalypse by Kush Land 604
The name isn’t lying. Welcome to a lava apocalypse. That liquid hot surface magma is freaking everywhere and it’s just waiting to burn off your face. There are some gaps that look pretty big, but most of this will be done with some good balance and bunny hops. To get a nice clean run, you’ll NEED those bunny-hop skills.

Avoid the heat by watching the video, but survive the Trial by Fire on Track Central.

RTC’A Dark Age ¥ by kronenb
Castles, wooden bridges, ruins custom checkpoints might not sound super awesome, but they REALLY are. Kronenb brought a nice technical line to this track. There are some physics obstacles, but they are so well done as to be almost invisible to most players. Also, the ending is pretty unexpected.

Check out A Dark Age in the video, or just play it on Track Central.

    Data bank[FG] by FG-312
I was going to go into how this track is incorrectly labeled, but I read wrong. It’s labeled as an Extreme, and it is. From the first jump you should know that this is going to be a track for players with technically sound skills, and it just ramps up a bit more from there. I’m not usually a big fan of custom cameras, but the shot framed on the tire-tapping barrels are pretty awesome.

Check out the Data bank in video surveillance form, or get in there are take care of it yourself.

    Charge by MeGaShEd
Let’s just all agree that Charge is set in a particle accelerator and be done with that part of the theme. It’s awesome, there is a ton of detail, and that’s just how the track feels to me. This is a fast line where you’ll be alternating between getting some pretty large air to clear some gaps, and taking it a bit easy to get the exact line that you want. Speaking of lines, there’s, oh, I don’t know, about 50 different ones depending on how you tackle the track.

Here’s our run, but maybe play MeGaShEd’s Charge first and see if you took it on differently.

X-Supercross tracks? We’ve got two for this week. Check out the images below and then get some friends together and throw down the gauntlet.

    Sandstorm XSX by TrialsPinkRanger
Let’s get this part out of the way; Sandstorm has some hard to see landing areas. The first few times I played it, I got a little… perturbed. After playing the track 3 or 4 times (and beating Ubi_Shogun in the process) I learned where I wanted to go and it wasn’t bad at all. I mean, it’s a sandstorm, so the sand and visibility are kinda an integral part of the theme. The track has some pretty awesome flow, and finding the line you want to take, regardless of sand, is part of the adventure.

Take a spin through the TrialsPinkRanger’s XSX track with some friends.

    Neocron (SC) by maxixi
Neocron is LONG for an XSX track, and it’s got some parts that aren’t that easy. This makes it a great addition to Uplay Recommended. The track is technical, the theme is fun (it’s like you are on course specifically designed to test Trials riders, fitting). It’s a ‘simple’ theme with a not simple line, and the combination works pretty well.

Have a pseudo-rage party with some friends and laugh as they mess up.

And here we are again, another Thursday with 5 new Trials tracks and 2 new XSX tracks added to the Uplay Recommended feed. Why can’t every day be Thursday? Stupid calendar.

    Until next week, riders!

Really liked ~ENNIVRANCE~ By x KaiLiMAN x and RTC’A Dark Age ¥ by kronenb, but the extreme was pretty much unplayable for me, the custom cameras made it awkward to gauge many of the jumps, shame really as it looked quite nice.

The XSX tracks were good fun as well, but liked the Neocron one the most.

    edit:

Custom cameras make my eyes go weird, tried another track on TC with a CC and that was even more harsh on my eyes! It's like my eyes see the bike but the brain senses a disconnect when it moves if that makes any sense?

RTC a dark age was my favourite it was fun and looked cool, and I liked ennivrance but the first part was a nightmare it felt too hard and there was no checkpoint but after that it was good. And I liked neocron as it was a fun xsx

Very cool tracks. Shame that I'm on 360, lots of downgrades in graphics to make up for lagging, but still very cool tracks nonetheless.

One question though, that first timesaver at 0.22s in Charge, judging from the video it's unlocked by touching that square that turns blue. If so, it doesn't work on 360. Otherwise I don't know how to unlock it.

I like these write-ups every week. Always a fair description of the tracks.
The Data Bank extreme was a cool looking track with a decent line but that camera ruined it for me a little bit.
Didn't play Charge by MeGaShEd yet, but that video makes it look really good.. Almost RedLynx quality.

I posted a vid of the 2nd supercross track in my video thread if anyone wants to see it.
That track is pretty decent as well.

Great picks this week. Enjoyed them all. The extreme has a great driveline but the camera changes are not my cup of tea. It didn't stop me from getting a good time on it though. Nice to see another RTC track in there. I hope this trend continues. Kailiman's track is my favorite as I already had it in my favorites lol.
