I'm running GeForce GTX 970 SLI with an i7-4790K CPU @ 4.00GHz. The game rocked with excellent graphic until yesterday. Why update when it when worked perfectly before. Here's a thought and a simple fix...provide a new update that reverts the game back to the way it was. Like the old sage said, "Don't fix it if it isn't broken".Originally Posted by UbiDuchess Go to original post

Lots of flicker after game upgrade and tried suggestions in the steam thread. Tried changing my card refresh rate from 60Hz up to 120Hz. Would have temporary affect but the flicker would come back. Tried in game refresh changes with same results. Turned in game V-Sync 'on' then changed in game refresh to 120Hz with my card at 60Hz and this seems to have taken care of the flicker. Exit and returned to game several times and the flicker seems to remain history.![]()
Running WIN 7 Pro 64 bit with GTX 980 SLI. All was fine until yesterday's 1.9 patch and DLC update was installed, then the heavy flickering started. Tried last 3 NVidia drivers just for cheap thrills, no real difference in flickering, game is unplayable in SLI. Just put the game back to patch 1.8 until you get your act together and test this update properly......and consider getting rid of your QA dept since they clearly don't earn their pay.
I totally agree. It was such a good game, now it's unplayable. My system is strong similar to yours and rocked before the update. Are you listening Ubisoft?Originally Posted by ronrjr Go to original post
Wow... Everyone just calm down. I am sure they will fix the problem asap. Until then try one of the fixes I suggested in the op, or the fix that Invert2 posted in this thread.
Yes it does suck to have these issues right now as soon as the new DLC launches, but as good as the game was playing on version 1.8.0 it shouldn't be too hard for them to find what is different in version 1.9.0 & correct it. Everyone just needs to go ahead & create a support ticket, & send them your dxdiag & msinfo32 along with a description of the problem. No need to be rude either. All we need to do is flood their support team with support tickets for this SLI screen flicker issue. The more support tickets get sent in for this problem the higher priority this problem becomes for them, & the sooner we will get another patch to correct the problem.
