    Question about textures Xbone

    Hello community,

I was wondering if there is anything wrong with the textures on FC4. Doesn't matter what paint texture I use on what surface it always comes out as a flat colour with no texture on it.
What I mean is when I use a mountain texture on an eroded piece of terrain or lets say the white pavement looking texture for the floor it just ends up blurry.

Am I missing something in my options perhaps ? I remember that on FC2 you had to preview final map to render out a high quality texture.

Another thing I noticed is that at random pieces of the terrain gets all the colours of the rainbow... is there a way to avoid this or how do I get rid of this without repainting my entire map?

    Thanks !

I have had that rainbow / blocky effect in areas of several maps I made and have looked at some other maps in the editor (by others) which had much more visible multicolored areas, I re-worked the terrain and had re-worked the paint by removing and re-painting - In the end I published the map as I could not find a way to get rid of it. After publishing the multi colored texture was not visible on terrain in the map so my guess is that some kind of check is done / maybe it updates things on publishing.
