Dear Ubisoft.
I recently got the 8th update for farcry4. Before that i faced a problem because of which i could not play the game at all. Now after a 1gb worth of update, guess what i see.....either a black screen or the whole game crashes within an accurate time of 30 seconds after loading.. i am running a quad core intel i5 @3.2ghz CPU with 10gb of ram and a AMD hd6670 DDR5 1gb GPU so i think that the game should run ok. Please look into this matter as i am started to think whether buying this game was a mistake!!!

tho it is higher in version number then the minimum supported AMD GPU an HD5850
its actually slower and may not be supported at all by the game
http://pclinks.xtreemhost.com/video.htm
your 6670 only has a memory bandwidth of 64 gig per second and only 480 pixel and vertex shading units
the 5850 has @ 128 gig a second Memory Bandwidth as well as 1440 vertex and pixel shaders and is twice as fast of a GPU
so you may need to upgrade your video card to play Far Cry 4 as your current GPU would actually fall below the minimum system requirements the game needs
i have an AMD 5770 in my one system and NO it could not run Far Cry 4 correctly and that card is actually more powerful then your 6670...
MY 5770 has 1 gig of DDR5 and a memory bandwidth of 76 gig a second as well as 800 pixel and vertex shaders (nearly double what your HD6670 has)
to fix it i installed an R 9 270X which runs the game fine with medium textures @ 1920 x 1080

also Black screens can come from a number of different issues such as running MSI afterburner or riva tuner or even some Antivirus and or firewall software as well as possibly a corrupt install of the game
Same issue here except not as soon as yours. I get a call to rescue two hostages (last game I saved that sticks) do the rescue mission then take out two outposts and the game goes black screen but sound continues. Reboot and continue offline and I'm back at the village getting a call to rescue two hostages This game is vers 1.8 downloaded from Steam..A couple times it gave me the Far Cry 4 Pc has stopped message yet continued to play for a couple minutes..Never got this far before because of the playing with a game pad issue. That issue went away way when I upgraded to Win 8.1.......Now this POS is still a big disappointment.. I wanted so bad to finish this game before GTA5 PC release next month.
