Suggestion: There IS a popup at game startup that states the beginning of the Blitz Season, rules, etc. If you have not seen the pop-up at the beginning of the game, then stop your game entirely and restart it once more, one time. That way you are sure you are in-sync and there isnt any residual 24-hour showdown aspects left in your game (dont know if thats possible but better safe than sorry).


I see wwaayy too many people posting with 24-hours showdowns going on, even when starting showdowns after the Blitz season started. Not going to start one ntil I see that its actually working for some folks.


If you have played 3 successful 10-minute games, please post, so those of us more cautious about bugs etc will know its safe to go in the water.

I played one showdown one hour after the new season started, it started a 10 minute showdown and worked ok, i could not reach the bunker for a few minutes but 3 minutes before the showdown ended it was back to normal.
I just finished two other 10 minute showdowns and it worked perfect. I won all three, made 40-45 chips per showdown.
I did not have any other showdowns running from last season.

I actually like this new format, maybe 10 minutes is a bit too short though, i hope we will have more options/choices in the future.

I think it is safe now, i have played 3 showdowns succesfully now, and all my 24 hour showdowns that were started in the blitz season just vanished

I won my first 5... then I got disconnected for no reason from the Bunker, and by the time I got back the opponent had spent a ton of tickets on his times. I had less than 2 minutes to try and make a comeback. Not possible.
If they're going to make the showdowns 10 minutes, then at least make sure the connections are stable. Since the season started, half the time I can't even connect to the Bunker when the internet is perfect on my phone.

Thats my biggest fear now.... they have always had delays in matchmaking (45+ minutes) and unstable connections where my fastest way to recover was to restart the game (took 3-4 minutes). Now.... those actions out of my control can often mean I lose a star if I am not right on top of it.

showdowns are working absolutely fine for me, i feel for those who are having problems! i did start too many at once though at first, oops! hopefully all is fixed soon because i am quite enjoying this idea, as it means i don't have to constantly check my phone to use tickets/try and beat times, just pop on for 30 mins and play 3 showdowns, seems pretty fun!

I have a 4G router,20Mbps,ping under 20,still takes 30 sec after a new showdown,5 tries for 3 tracks are so uncool
And then these combination of tracks,have to waste 8 more golden tickets -_-,the other guy like 20-25.

I had one and I had to use 2 G.olden Tickets..I won. Look pretty fair because you have to play 100% since immediately and this will prove surely your skill. I'm ok with that.
Anyway I can understand skepticism, especially in people with connection troubles.
