Fix the track rating system | Forums

Hey, I've just noticed something really annoying with the current rating system.

If a track gets 1 like/0 dislikes, the green bar is filled at 50%.

But.

If it gets 1 dislike, the green bar goes down to 25%. Why do the dislikes have so much impact ?

1 like/1 dislike = 50%, not 25%.

Same goes for a track with 6 likes and 1 dislike. The bar is filled up at around 70%. But theoretically, it should be around 85.3%.

And even worse, a track with 2 likes and 1 dislike won't even have a green bar over 50%... Please fix that.

At low vote numbers you never get perfect 100% scores, it needs to pass some threshold it seems. I see this all the time on new ninja tracks with 100% likes which arent 100% full bar.

I think it's after 20 downloads or 20 different people have rated the track. I like the evo star system to be honest. At this stage of the game I'm not sure how many more updates we will even see? I think today when I get home from work I'm going to play some evo. I wonder at what point they will start making the new trials if they haven't already.

Funny I noticed that exact same thing this morning,
I shared a track to TC, ran it and gave it a like,
The bar was at 50%,
I was then thinking to myself, "that's odd, If 1 person ran it (even if it was only myself) and gave it a like, it should have a 100% rating?, ah well, move on"
5 minutes later another user ran it and gave it dislike, which would then suggest a 50% like/dislike rating, as it was at - 2 downloads - 1 like - 1 dislike...
But it went to 25%
What the? so I thought it best just to go away and forget about it lol

This is a big reason why i wont even build tracks on fusion anymore im back on evolution im more at home there it seems sorry fusion...
