    So when you are here:

    Forums -> RedLynx Studio -> TRIALS FUSION -> General Discussion -> Forum Infractions (reading a post)

    or here;

    Forums -> RedLynx Studio -> TRIALS FUSION -> General Discussion (viewing a forum)

    there is a link to the forum rules, at the bottom of the page.

    If you are here;

    Forums -> RedLynx Studio -> TRIALS FUSION

    or here;

    Forums -> RedLynx Studio

    there is no link.

    There used to be links to the forum rules most places when using phpBB.
    That's actually incorrect. There is even a sticky thread about the rules literally right above this thread.

    Main categories do not have rule links as you cannot post directly to them. There were stickies to the rules in literally every sub-forum, but I was sure that was a bit much and moved some of them specifically because there is a link at the bottom of the page.

    The whole "protect children" point is moot! The kids at the primary school (ages 5-11) I work at know more swear words than I do! Trials is a PEGI 12 right? Surely that means the forums are PEGI 12 too?

    PEGI 12 states "Any bad language in this category must be mild and fall short of sexual expletives."

    1. Doesn't matter.
    2. No. These forums house far more games than just Trials. The forum rules are all-encompassing throughout every category, thread and post made on the Ubisoft forums. The forums should be kept at an E for Everyone level.

    I thought it was important to get the point across. I've seen and heard children (maybe 10) screaming profanities at their parents in department stores. It doesn't really matter much to me if they know/use that language, unless they do so here. If you've seen many of my posts on twitter, you'll see that my strong language filter isn't always at 100%. But I don't do it here, because there are rules against it.

    We all gotta follow the rules, or face the repercussions.

    When you go to a forum, you have to accept the rules. If you don't conform to them and start blaming other people for enforcing the rules you agreed with in the first place, then you are doing it wrong.

    Yes, it's that simple.

    People should follow rules. That's a thing.

    But you also should make the difference between humoristic posts and serious posts. Chaeron's post was absolutely not serious, and the fact that he got an infraction for that is just... Hilarious. LOL.

    I've got stupid infractions as well. But not as much as that one.

    + What zurgery said. Yes, it's a question of lightening up.

    It's really not a "question of lightening up". It's a matter of following the rules that you agree to when using the forums. If you don't, then you will incur infractions.

    Don't break the rules. It really is that easy.
