I dont know, but I guess its because many of the missions and quests are scripted and require you to get to certain check points to conclude and finish the mission. It's like the assassination missions, where you are required to escape the area and that means to leave the yellow outlined area on the mini map or keep going away from the center of the action UNTILL the telltale notice comes up that you have completed the assassination mission. BUT....if you fast travel out after completing the objective It wont upgrade your progress bar and the map will still show the mission as not being done.Originally Posted by robbedwater72 Go to original post
On durgesh you have to leave the lower area where the guard towers are, I do this by jumping over the edge to the snow below. Then the Yeti comes and it's over.
I suspect that that is a required checkpoint and if you dont activate it , you have to start over. Ah...computer programs. The save status only recognizes completed actions and will return you to the last completed action in most cases.
^Pretty sure he's talking about the DLC. There's no heli escape in the prison escape in the campaign.
It isn't supposed to take you anywhere else. The Escape From Durgesh DLC plays as a mini campaign by itself. Escaping in the heli ends it, then it puts you back at the beginning in case you want to play it again.
