From what I remember there has been already a track crossplatformed that has that. There is no reason to make a faster line in a track that is ninja, that's just a bad designed track in my opinion.
And some of the extremes are already very very close to lvl 1 ninja's. And I don't see how higher level ninja drivinglines would be faster unles you want like only 2-3 people competing on the leaderboard.
Oh please, you talk about ninjas as if they are some kind of gimmick community and that the only way we should be able to play the tracks we like to play is via some gimmicky methods like bailing into a portal on a track that non-ninjas deem "normal". We deserve more than that. ninja builders make ninja tracks because people enjoy playing them, sure, they aren't for everyone, but we are a pretty big community.... probably one of the biggest constantly active communities on trials.Originally Posted by IImayneII Go to original post
If a track is GOOD, and by good, i mean good driving line, good theme etc, then it should have the opportunity to be crossplatformed regardless of difficulty.
Maybe its just me, but im kinda getting sick of it being said that tracks that 99% of the community cant pass shouldn't be crossplatformed. why not look at it the other way for one? why crossplatform easy tracks when the majority of ACTIVE players enjoy hard-extreme tracks. The same could be said about medium tracks.
Now dont take what i said above as me saying you should stop crossplatforming easy tracks because im not... i am however saying that well made ninja tracks shouldnt be blocked from crossplatform opportunities just because a few people wont get to enjoy them (exactly the same way that i dont enjoy playing easy tracks even though some of them are stunning). There are players on all platforms that would LOVE to play ninja tracks from platforms other than their own.
That's pretty much my opinion on the whole cross platform ninja ordeal. ;p
I think you have misinterpreted my post.Originally Posted by Jonny Go to original post

I was nowhere near imllying that ninja tracks are a gimmick. I even advocated a while back that the ingame ninja's shouldn't have been hidden like they are, but a whole seperate category after extremes for people who want to test their limits, with real leaderboards for people to compete on. I am all for integrating ninja's better in the base game and on TC.
And I never said they shouldn't be crossplatformed, I don't think it should happen every week, but a ninja once in a while doesn't hurt anyone, it's not like I like every crossplatformed track every week anyway so, and I do play ninja's from time to time, as long as they aren't too hard xD. And TC, for the most part, lacks descent ninja's anyway
Very nice addition! (next update?)
I had a little smile when i saw the picture on the portal, i wonder what track is it![]()
