I'm happy, we're also legends for the first time

No legends gave wins (not familiar names), even if I offered chips to them by starting with lot's of crashes or did not take tracks till last 10 mins. Had to fight using tickets from 2nd rank...
As a legend I start with lots of cashes, 2 lvls, but no one understands that I need chips and will give win (today started coupling for TT )

Congrats! If you hang around legends for a few days you inevitably end up running into some players that do respond to pingpong or that seem to know you want chips and just let you have the wins. I got matched twice with Yoshiki... first time for me, so was pretty cool. I have to say for a moment i thought about doing 0 fault runs just to have the honor of being crushed by him But i need the chips, so i started with 15 faults and he let me have the wins for free. It would be great if there were some way we could interact with the opponent in the bunker, even if just to say thanks (or to give the finger).

Edit- btw i just realized i also got matched with superwera, author of this thread. He was super cool too, thanks amigo!

I was thinking that the only way to communicate are the nicks and the outfits. So instead of some country prefix one could add "PP" to the nick. Or have specific outfit combinations published here. One that means "I'm up for ping pong", one that means "Sorry, I want that reward on level 1 quite badly", and one that means "Sorry, I don't have time for ping pong, but I need the chips, so if you let me keep the tracks for the first half of the showdown, I'll let you win" (that would be mine)

Would only work for people reading the forums of course.

First time legend here as well. Made it with 8 hours to spare.
Usually don't use tickets unless my opponent uses them but made an exception this season.
Encountered 3 legends on my way. 2 of them gave me the win The third one put up an effort but didn't use any tickets, while I used like ten against him.

Love this idea! Someone should make a post with different outfits meaning different things!!!

I also let anyone level 1-2 get free wins when I made legend last season. I thought Ping-Pong wasn't happening anymore since you have to use so many Golden tickets to make it work. This season I will start Ping-Pong when getting close to legends league for sure!

    Whats ping pong?

Do you just start out with 20 faults and go down to get more rewards or what?

Yes, ping ponging is essentially getting bad times on tracks and then having your opponent get slightly better times, and gradually improving your times over and over to increase both the amount of chips you have and the match's prize pool.

A lot of people communicate with each other to plan out how they will do it if they are matched up with each other, such as two players planning to take back the tracks every 30 minutes or every 45 minutes and then playing more seriously in the last 10 minutes. But this is just one way people could do it, it depends on the preference of what the players want to do.

Thanks. Didn't realize taking over a track gave you additional chips. That sounds great.

Well, you get chips a lot faster in the first few minutes compared to after an hour of owning a track. That's why it's better to take back a track sooner than later, because that makes it more efficient in getting chips.
