    LK-1018 Sucks

That rocket launcher LK-1018 sucks. The times I fire at a moving vehicle and when the target is locked and it still misses. Also the audio to it is glitched where we can't always hear the explosions. I've hit a lot of targets with it and missed a lot. How can we miss with a lock-on target. It's bulls**t. Also it takes too long for the rockets to hit where we aim and that is partly why it misses a target a lot. I takes so long for the rockets to move, they give the enemy time to get out of the way. There's been times when I hit a target and they still live. What kind of bulls**t is that?

I'm pretty sure but not positive, that the LK is a wire guided missile and not a lock on missile when used without the additional scope, so you have to use the sight to follow the truck.
If you purchase the sighting system for the mortor like effect that it gives it does have a lock on. That lock on is to guide the missile to the intended target area and strange things happen like the missile will take off verticly to fly up and then down on its target.

The other thing is its not exact and can strike areas that you didn't target when you think you got a lock on a specific target. '
I only know its kind of fun to play with, but I dont use it in my serious load out set up.

Yeah, if you buy the scope it turns to a javelin type guided missile with cluster "mortar" load and locking feature.
But this locking system is too sensitive - even a thin tree branch that obscures a target can break a lock. Also, sometimes it has a bug when it randomly changes the type of ammo.

It would be very nice if they could add an ability to change the type of load on the go (like you do it with a bow or like we did it with a mortar in Far Cry 2). Because if you have the scope attached, javelin type cluster loads are pretty effective against the infantry, but when a chopper suddenly comes for you it's much less reliable then regular guided missile.
