You use a syringe -> A new one is immediately auto crafted from 2 green leaves in your bag.

Nope. I had three filled bars of health out of four, I healed which used a syringe because the green plus sign changed to 2 and I had 10 green leaves and didn't get any more syringes crafted. I only seem to be able to heal one health slot....unless a pick up or buy a kit of course.
