hi all, Now im not so sure it is battery drain??
I thoroughly tested my note3 today or more accurately, just played trials all day!!
the problem always exists where i have to play with the phone layed to the right (samsung logo on right) if i play with the phone layed the other way (logo on the left), the game pauses when i hit the accelerator & the lean controls are unresponsive always, impossible to play.
when the samsung logo is on the right when playing, all is ok.
As for the battery drain theory, well now im not so sure.
This morning when i started having rider lean problems, I was playing SP & the battery was at 47%
it started with the rider stuck in the forward position, i backed out of the track & went back in to the same track & the bike wouldn't accelerate off the line.
i backed out again, went into showdown and experienced controls just stopping mid flow, these problems then persisted until unplayable & quit.
it definitely seemed to get worse once it had started, in both SP & MP. as at first they are intermittent problems and you can ride tracks, in between the control issues.but they gradually get more and more frequent.
when frontier became completely unplayable, i tried a few other apps to check my screen & i found the screen to be completely responsive with zero problems.

this afternoon i have played frontier from 100% - 04% battery, twice, probably about 4hrs, in both SP & MP again,
with absolutely no signs of problems?? (as long as logo is on the right)
so, who knows??
