That's bad , but worse is when the weapon I dropped just disappears (falls thru the map or something), which has happened to me several times. And of course I seem to lose the ammo that was in the weapon, again not bad if it's one mag, but 200 rounds in a belt fed is a big loss. I think a separate function key for swap weaps would be great. Or have it set so that the FIRST choice is to search a body, since that's what most players do 99% of the time.

    2. fewer animal attacks. I get so tired of stopping in to reload then before I'm a klick away, my armor is gone and I've had to heal due to animal attacks.
on the same topic, we need a freaking weapon for under water. Why cant I melee a fish before it attacks? It's really irritating to be swimming and get attacked 3 or 4 times without being able to do anything but bleed.

    3. No more shangri la or drugged out missions. Those were the least enjoyable part of the game.

    4. If one key has multiple functions, LIST THEM ALL IN THE KEY MAP PAGE so we can see what will change (i.e climb/fire, descend/zoom, etc)

    5. One really great option would be to have the ability to leave markers on the map.

6, If I*'m going to pay $90 for a game, I want to play it more than once. If i have to sit through 5 minutes of commercials every time I start the game, then I have a 20 minute inro, which I've already seen the first time, then 5 minute cut scenes when I interact with various characters, it makes me less likely to want to replay, which means I'm less likely to spend $90 on the collector's edition.
I 100% agree on all of the above. You can skip the (not nearly 5 minutes long) "commercials" though. 1-3 are VERY true.

    7. Last issue. Actually having to hold in a key to perform the function (like heal or search). That extra second might not seem significant, but after 6 hours of play, my 'hold" finger is pretty sore from searching/using, And of course a one second delay is long enough to die, when factoring that healing takes and additional 2 seconds or so, that's 3 seconds of being out of commission. If I want to search or heal, I REALLY DO WANT to search or heal. So let me just hit the key and get the result.
This wasn't a problem for me so no comments here.

I'D LIKE TO SEE OUR GAMEPLAY HAVE MORE OF AN IMPACT ON THE WORLD. SRY CAPS.
for example: there could be a decrease in wild life for each animal we kill and have the wild life population regrow passed some time.
this because we are killing a rhinoceros to craft some small bag. where on earth do we use it's full skin to craft a tiny bag or whatever it is?
i actually refrain from killing animals because its stupid to feel like im killing a ton of them and have them always spawn endlessly in the same areas.
the game should be set up in a way that we either search for an already poached animal (for example finding some villagers who have just hunted and animal and we remove a tiny patch of skin to craft the item we need, AND in addition to that (because we should anyway have the option of killing animals), the game should have a penalty for having us kill animals by loosing xp or whatever. this would be more natural.
of course there is the time we need to kill to defend ourselves. at this point i dont know how to handle that situation.
maybe we loose xp anyway. bottom line is we dont kill for food, rather for their skin, like illegal poaching so we could be penalized by killing any animal.
whatever the scenario, id like to see an impact in wildlife when we go on killing animals.

Nice list. I agree FC4 re-used a little too much from FC3, especially weapons. I too would love a completely new set of weaponry, and a bigger range of weapons to choose from! The weapon designs are really good in the Far Cry games so I'd love to see it used for more guns like the G36C, UMP-45, MP7, CheyTac Intervention and more.
(Also, the guns should be balanced. Right now I'm only using an RPG and the WW2 LMG in FC4 because they're sooo much more powerful than the rest)

As for the setting, I would personally like a west-coast theme somewhere in California, with a post-apocalyptic city on the coast line on the west corner of the map, with forrests and mountains in the north, and a big desert in the south. This would add a lot of variety! Deserts are pretty, and you could do some cool things there with vehicles, and forrests are pretty mandatory at this point it seems for Far Cry, and the vertical aspect of having mountains is definitely cool. Finally, the city might be something not a lot of people will agree with, but I'd love a few office building, city street and maybe even a skyscraper. One of the reasons is that it would be cool to grapple and zipline from building to building, shooting zombies (?) and people from cover to cover inside/on top/in between buildings.
Just the thought of a sky-scraper outpost is awesome to me ^^
...+ the assets from a city section would be very neat to have in the editor. It would be much easier to create urban areas etcetra.

I have also thought about a Far Cry set in space which sounds insane and far-fetches, but that seems to be something the Far Cry games flourish on by doing really well =P
Imagine space-ship vehicles, exo-planets for outposts, aliens instead of animals etc o_o
And finally, dinosaurs would genuinely be epic! XD

Dear Ubisoft and Far Cry Community,

First of all I am no stranger to the Far Cry franchise, I am a series veteran and played all titles starting from Far Cry Predator. After completing Far Cry 4 I decided to take a look at the wishes people have for the next installment in the Far Cry franchise and make a wish list out of it. This thread serves for the sole purpose of conveying the wishes from the Far Cry community to the developers. I also ask for help from the community managers.

One of the strongest criticisms Far Cry 4 took was being a re-skin or Far Cry 3.5. I strongly agree with that point of view, the game did not really feel new and the whole recycling all assets from FC3 made it worse. What gamers expected from Far Cry 4 was the next level in the series, but ultimately it stayed the same. I am in no way implying that the formula is bad or that you should fix something that isn’t broken. However, you should expand on the formula and innovate in order to avoid the copy paste feeling. I do expect some radical changes in the next iteration.

    Location
Lets Kick things off with the location for FC5 or other titles in the future. In the last Longinus quest he explains to Ajay that he will probably go next to South America or Cuba but he has not decided yet. Nice Easter egg from the developers. I think South America or Cuba would be amazing since there are many new fresh possibilities with such a setting.
However these locations were also widely discussed in the forums and could happen in a future themed Far Cry:
    • Alaska or Antarctica
    • Arabia
    • Australia
    • South America; Peru, Colombia
    • 1960s Vietnam War
    • Russia (placed in Siberia)
The main series should have a realistic/plausible setting simply because that is what people like about the franchise. The whole Sci-Fi, vampire, dinosaur themed Far Cry settings should be kept as a DLC or a new IP.

    Weapons
I think a complete new arsenal for FC5 is a MUST, since FC4 recycled every millimeter from FC3, which by the way was a huge disappointment. Please Ubisoft do not recycle any weapons from FC3/FC4 into FC5 again. Make the next title feel fresh and play around with the weaponry. What I mean is you could offer weapons from different eras and not just stick to modern day weaponry. Such as; more WW2, Vietnam War (early M16s), Cold war weapons.
    Many people in the community have requested the following weapons;
    • G36 or G36C
    • Steyr Aug
    • FN P90
    • M60E
    • PSG-1
    • Dart Rifle (FC2)

KrAzY1337 made an amazing wish list for FC4 a while ago. I hope the developers will read his thread and consider as many of his ideas as possible. Especially the gameplay and AI section is great. Link below!
    http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...ishlist-Forums

    Requests/Ideas for FC5
    • No more recycled assets from FC3/FC4 in the next game (animations, weapons etc.). We don’t want another Far Cry 3.5 please respect that.
    • No Last Gen support (next/current gen only)
    • New enemy AI, FC4 AI was very poor in terms of organization and they would just storm at you.
    • New NPC classes; for example spec ops soldier (thank you KrAzY1337 for the idea)
    • Dunia 3 engine (last gen held back the potential for FC4)
    • Different map structure; instead of one big map or two big islands how about an archipelago with one section being an entire fully fledged urban city.
    • Pilotable Planes, but not just one type of plane. We want a variety.
    • More types of Helicopters (not just the buzzer we want something like the AH-6 little bird).
    • Urban cities, as in actual big concrete cities and not just tiny villages like Banapur etc.
    • Outposts should get the next level of evolution. You get easily bored after taking over 4 outposts. There should be more types of outposts. New outposts could be for example military bases (armored vehicles, helicopters, huge area), Spec ops/secret bases (organized spec ops soldiers with the best gear and flash bang grenades), weapons stash depots (a new way to unlock weapons).
    • Portable Mortars (like in FC2)
    • More into depth weapons customization.
    • Weapons degradation (I know some people won't support this, but why not make it optional?)

If you have any other ideas please comment and I will incorporate your ideas to the list.
    Thank You
I dont think you will have to worry about last gen holding back far cry 4 is probably there final game for it but anyway the thing i would love to see is it set in a Vietnam war between the Vietnamese people and us army and your given a choice like skyrim u join the Vietnam people or the us army and each side has a leader with good and bad points. What should be introduced to the this is tanks, planes, helicopters and jeeps, and so on oh and boats and other military stuff in whole i think this idea would be very awesome for a new farcry game and test your far cry skills to the very edge of wht u can do and maybe this time they add more blood and gore so it adds realism and fear to the world.

You had some good ideas there but No Frikken Way zombies on FC! They already f*cked FC1 with space mutants. Mad Max -style street gangs would be perfect for a FC world you described.

Don't really mind what the setting is with FC5 (although Vietnam is a great suggestion, Would it look towards the Middle East but maybe set back some years ago - Turkey / Egypt - or maybe a South American country, who knows.

I have played all the Far Cry single player games except for Vengeance on the Wii and enjoyed them all so am sure I will like FC5, Unfortunately I can't say the same for the Far cry multiplayer elements, they change far too much and they piss off their previous fans with every release where multiplayer is concerned.
Although I am sure that each game also gains some new fans in my opinion they need to get back to basics with the MP Modes and need to deliver and listen to the guys that will be buying the game this time.

    Team Death Match
    (Solo) Death Match
    CTF
Those three modes are a must and possibly two others, I would go for Solo and Team Last man Standing and some form of Territories / King Of The Hill that could have options for assault mode.

Also Far cry 5 MP needs to have a lobby where players can choose which team they want to be on, they need options galore to see who is hosting, the mode and map been hosted and number of players in the match.
We need to be able to make multiplayer maps with the editor but at the same time I like what they brought with Far cry 4's editor with the A.I. and COOP in maps, if they could upgrade that also to 4 player COOP with A.I. and have 16 player MP with vehicles and basic MP modes then it should be popular this time.

Dedicated Servers is a must also.

I just figured they might as well just call it zombies instead of "Shangri-La ghosts", "Mutants" or "Psychedelic Warriors" like in previous games haha =P

[SIZE=2]The only thing I want in farcy5. Since theirs no more map editor multiplayer. Its huge map editor, 4x times the size of the previous map editors and the ability to make my own survival world with co-op feature in mind. With zombies, dinosaurs, animals, hunting features ,ability to make our own buildings and props that can be pick up in world. I want the next farcyengine5. thanks

The very first location on the list in the first post. Alaska (or Antarctica) would do it for me. Snow levels are my favorite.
