    Goodbye Trials Frontier

It has been a good run. I've put more hours into this game than i care to admit but i feel like it is time to go.This was one of the best games on the app store don't get me wrong but I have reasons. I am not going to make it to legends this season due to my terrible skills and temper causing me to open 28 or so showdowns to stop me from spending more tickets. PVP is more hassle than it is worth. The game has gotten bland and iv'e got nothing else to do. I am under 100 on every leaderboard so there is next to no room for improvement. I just wanted to say this is a wonderful community and despite not posting much i do come here often and it has taught me a lot. However it is just time to move on. Goodbye Trials Frontier.

Take care! If you find a phone-based game with Trials' depth of gameplay, let me know.

The first season of the Bunker, I had serious rage problems while ranking up to Legend status. This season I resolved that I'm just playing for fun, and if I finish the season at rank 8 so be it. I seem to be enjoying this season a lot more now that I made that resolution.

not necessarily trying to persuade you to change your mind, but saying there is next to no room for improvement is just false. trials is such a cool game that way, the skill ceiling is so high, no-one has capped it yet! (NSPIVenomz has come the closest, but i digress :P ) the thing is, when you get good enough to be challenging for the top spots on the leaderboards, time difference increments get smaller, but the skill required to achieve them gets much greater. for example: im top 10 on a lot of tracks, top 25 on almost all. there is still a MASSIVE difference in skill between me and KarTank/Alexbyrne. part of what makes trials so entertaining to me is the neverending pursuit of improvement, no matter how great or small.

i agree with you to an extent about the bunker though, it can be a bit of a pain. that shouldnt stop you from chasing leaderboards, or ANBA if that is your thing. trials frontier has been a bit of a weird trials experience for me in that regard. fusion and evo were all about leaderboards right from the start. frontier was more like an RPG, and the grind for maxing all my bikes was the overarching goal. swapping gears to the leaderboard grind is taking me a bit...

i have a feeling you wont be gone permanently though taking breaks is good! it refreshes the mind, and allows you to come back with new vigor. i hope to see you around again in a few months!

I feel in the same boat. Feeling tired. Tired of trying to upgrade bikes, tired of waiting and waiting and waiting. Still feeling exhausted by the last season.
Not saying that I will leave, but I doubt that I will play this season.

I have not played a showdown in almost a week now; pretty tired too. Just sitting at rank 5, waiting for the crowd to catch up so I can ride the wave in with less stress.

I have 300 friends with a core 150 from last seasons most active; some people might be able to do a better cross-section of the player rank, but from my own friends I can see:
    - 29 of the 56 legends
    - another 29 in the next 4 ranks (doubled in the last week)
    - 28 ranked 5-6
    - 80 people ranked 7-10
    - 110+ people ranked 11-15

With 12 days left, I think most people are tired, and/or don't care so much. They know there isn't anythign waiting for them in legends, and only minor improvements for the donkey.

    This is bad..
I think this game needs update in gameplay very soon if they don't want to see many people acting like this..

Well despite him "quitting" it looks like Sespion still made it (46 legend rank). I went against him early this season, I can't remember if I won or not, but he was pretty good as I recall.

I have to agree with him on some points though, the Showdowns are pretty stressful and what started out to be pretty fun and attainable it appears it is a lot less attainable for average skill riders. I think the showdowns would be much better if you didn't lose stars. It would still be a struggle to claw your way to the top, and people would certainly still work to upgrade their bikes/use golden tickets/gems to help advance, but they wouldn't have to constantly worry about deranking. I just think it would stop the frustration a bit more., I doubt RL wants people to lose interest in the game.

It becomes very frustrating when you throw countless tickets against riders you really have little chance at beating. Now with 11 days (or whatever) left, and seeing some of the top tier riders still at rank 1 and 2 it's a bit discouraging. It's already pretty abused anyhow when considering that you could just derank and open 30+ matches at once to sling shot you into legends. Having said that, I really enjoyed the first season and have taken this season much easier which has definitely helped, but I think most of us can say that we are all a little burned out on constant showdowns.

About that... I had a feeling that could come up and i feel like i should explain since i claimed not 24 hours a go i wouldn't make it. I was coming out of a six day losing streak, in about rank 4, and my temper caused me to spend all of my tickets. I had about 30 showdowns running at once. No one can conceivably play that many and still get good times, especially when there are other things to do. I should have been sent down to around rank 8. After i made the post i decided I should at least attempt to play some of them so i don't go out with a whimper hoping i would at least win a couple of them. And then i got a 22 win streak. Launched me into legends. Sorry for any confusion. I can say with certainty though i will not be opening more showdowns for a while if I decide to return. Also I am pretty sure we played twice crispben. You won the first and I won the second.
