Best screen size to play on?

I play on the iPhone 5s, and am looking to upgrade to maybe a 6, 6+, or just move away from iPhones altogether.

My question is which screen was your favorite to play on? Not necessarily the one you use most often, but the one you prefer. Any comments or suggestions welcome.

I think my Galaxy S3 is about 5 inches or less. I can't tell for sure

According to Google, which knows all things, the S3 is 4.8 inches diagonal. I tried to make this Android friendly, but I might have failed if they use dimensions different than the diagonal size, or use the metric system.

    I prefer 6 to 8.9 inches.

I also play on iphone 5s, and bought a ipad mini 2 on the side, which is perfect for playing trials, not too big not too small. I play on iphone during the day (at work) and switch to my ipad at home, i am way better with the bigger screen and bigger buttons, it is much easier for showdowns and improving records.

On android i use a samsung tabpro 8.4 inch

i play on iphone 5s, and i tried iphone 6, which was way better. i've also played on bigger ipad, which sucked, but i haven't played on ipad mini - which may or may not be better than iphone 6. try on a few i guess?

I played happily on my iPhone 5 from the launch of Trials Frontier with no problems, but when my iPhone 6 Plus arrived on the 19th of September, I couldn't believe the difference it made. So much better, it's the perfect size. I also have an iPad mini, but it's just too big to hold comfortably for long periods of gaming - the game looks good, just not as easy to control as on the 6 Plus.

I play on my iPhone 6 (4.7") and sometimes my Nexus 7 (7", duh). I definitely prefer playing on my iPhone. The screen on my Nexus is too big and I feel I have to reach to hit the controls.

Am I the only large ipad guy? (thats me in the poll) iphone 6 was a big improvement over iphone 5, etc... but I still prefer the larger screen; easier on my eyes (wish I had ipad air, still back on ipad 2 or 3).

I play on an S5 and also on my PC using an android emulator and xbox controller on a 30" monitor. I don't see a huge advantage one way or the other as far as screen size. I do like using a controller as opposed to the touch screen as I feel like the physical buttons make effective braking easier to control and I don't have those phone smashing moments where I'm about to wreck one of my times and miss pressing the onscreen control by a millimeter. I still play on my galaxy 90% of the time since I can play on the go.

Looks like the 4.1 to 4.9 inch category is the winner.

I do want to try Frontiers out on a 6+, though. I wonder if they'd let me download and test aps out in the store?
