When to build the Phantom? | Forums

I've been holding off on building the Phantom for lots of reasons (slot machine, finish upgrading other bikes, and now showdowns). I have the itch to build it. All my tier 1 bikes are maxxed. Tier 2 is close and 7+ on my two tier 3 bikes. The question I have is, what level would you guys recommend I upgrade the Phantom to? I want be able to complete slot machine challenges and showdowns without being too gimped. Thanks.

Don't do it until you have enough cash, parts and gems stockpiled so you can level it up to 7's at a minimum and not have to wait weeks between upgrades. Can't tell you how often I lost showdowns last season because I was simply outclassed on the phantom. If I could go back and take that approach I would. There's a thread here about upgrade costs per level to give you an idea of how much it will cost. I'm out on my phone watching some fights at a bar, but I'll find the link if someone else doesn't post it or you can't find it.

6 or 7 sounds like a reasonable level to try and reach ASAP. But also realize that doing the upgrades to get it there will take you 3 weeks... Once you've got the materials to do so, go for it.

Thanks guys. I'm familiar with the cost/material breakdown thread. I am going to wait on the first couple levels and gem the rest. I'm not very patient :z)

Well its just over 1.6m to get it to lvl 7 across the board. Guess I'll keep saving!

For the Slot Machine, a level 4-5 Phantom should suffice. Mine was at straight 4s forever until the Bunker showed up. The only reason I had it at 4 is because of the slots, so that should do. If you want to be competitive in the Bunker, at least 6, but even I think that's a bit low. 7 sounds good.

I had level 5 for like ages, never was a problem in bunker ether... or maybe once.
Or maybe I was lucky to have similar upgraded phantom on opponents also.

Don't forget the 100 gems per level to skip the upgrade times!
