FC4 PC and wired Xbox 360 game controller issue

Hi Dudes, I have finally gotten my game updated to version 1.80 and while it runs really nice, as soon as I plug in my Xbox360 wired controller the game slows to a crawl and video becomes choppy.. Ubi launcher verifies all the game files. Also, I lost the ability to pick weapons off dead foes I wasted in melee attacks. I have uninstalled and re-installed the Xbox360 for Windows drivers and still can't shake this problem.I have partial paralysis in my left hand and gaming with a Kb & mouse is out of the question. With the same setup, all other games I play that support use of game pads run flawlessly using my wired game controller including FC3 and Watch Dogs. The system specs are:
MSI 970A mb, FX6300 @ 3500, EVGA GTX760, Crucial 16 gigs matched ddr3. Win7 Pro-64 and a Corsair 750 watt power supply. MSI Control Center verifies all voltages to be stable. No other USB devices are present, except a micro ****le for my kb/mouse combo. Surely this is a game issue. I hope someone here has a solution.

have you WASTED your time putting a ticket in? if not don't bother, they'll only say its your controller drivers, I got that, played 100% before Christmas with my wireless xbox controller, after 1 ov the updates it went potty, put a ticket in and got answered eventually after complaining on here, just to be told its my controllers drivers at fault, funny thing is im NOT the only person having this exact problem, I also tried the WIRED original 360 control, still same problem, no one seems to be able to help with regards to this BUG that is not due to our drivers, but a MAJOR SCREWUP on ubisofts behalf

what is the point xMiiSTY I contacted ubisoft with this same problem, and was told it was my controller drivers, which is bull, I have played farcry3, saints row and grand theft auto all with my wireless xbox control, without ANY problems, yet farcry 4 THE ONLY GAME that for some reason does NOT work using my controller and its apparently my drivers at fault, how can that be huh????

buy a different game pad? .. yes some people cant get the X box pads to work why others can ......it has to be something to do with the versions of the game pad at the hardware level thats something ubi cant fix
i use a $20 logitech dual action game pad and it works perfectly fine .

All the games I have that support the Xbox 360 game pad work when the game pad is plugged in. (except FC4 Pc)

FC4 Pc will not load when a Xbox360 controller is plugged in. (unless I push it along by control+alt+delete then clicking cancel)

Once loaded, FC4 Pc runs like crap when the Xbox360 controller is plugged in.

Requested a ticket from support last week on this issue, no response.

Read every FC4 Pc forum page, found no definitive no fix for the the Xbox360 controller issue.

FC4 Pc runs fine without the Xbox360 controller plugged in.

Game version is patched to 1.8 and the game pad option in FC4 Pc is still broken in FC4 Pc.

Ubi Launcher verified game files and game pad option is still broken in FC4 Pc.

I used Xpadder that worked so well on Far Cry 1 and re-mapped my game pad to keyboard keys settings that work and the game pad option is still broken in FC4 Pc..

I re-installed original motherboard drivers, the game pad option is still broken in FC4 Pc.

I upgraded my mother board drivers, the game pad option is still broken in FC4 Pc..

I upgraded my video card drivers, the game pad option is still broken in FC4 Pc.

I uninstalled all but 1 USB port (had to borrow a wired keyboard and mouse), the game pad option is still broken in FC4 Pc.

Tried putting my 360, wired and wireless KB/M combo on a powered external USB hub with remaining USB ports uninstalled, game pad option is still broken in FC4 Pc.

I need a shower and a tall drink, something very dry because my game pad option is still broken in FC4 Pc.

I installed the most current 360 controller driver (same as the old one) and the game pad option is still broken in FC4 Pc.

I used a game pad re-mapper, Xpadder, that worked so well on Far Cry 1 and re-mapped my game pad to keyboard keys settings that work and the game pad option is still broken in FC4 Pc.

Tried putting my 360, wired and wireless KB/M combo on a powered external USB hub and the game pad option is still broken in FC4 Pc.

I need a shower and a tall drink, something very dry. Getting trashed will make me feel better because my game pad option is still broken.

I still can't use my Xbox 360 controller and I'm running v1.10.0. If the gamepad is connected, I get black screens, loading problems, characters not reacting, animation sequences not playing, etc. Basically, as long as the gamepad is connected the game is unplayable. I created my own thread on here and contacted Ubisoft via Twitter and had no response. Terrible.

My PC is running Windows 7 Pro (64-bit). I heard it works fine on Windows 8 but why should I be forced to shell out more money upgrading my OS?

    Hi,
    Welcome to the forums.

You have had replies on both Twitter [within a few minutes] and here on the forum [which isn't a dedicated support channel] - during the weekend, so I can only apologise for any small delay.

If you are still having the issue - as already advised in this thread - you need to contact the support team directly - the forums are not able to help with every problem, so the team will need to troubleshoot on a case by case basis.

There are steps support can advise you to try - however please make sure to send them both your DXdiag and also MSinfo - since these will show the team what services and drivers you have installed [which can be the root cause of the issue]

I have had zero response from @Ubisoft and @UbisoftUK. However, having just discovered @UbisoftSupport and sending you a link to my forum thread, I can see you have made the effort to respond. Progress at least.

Instead of insisting your multiple patches have resolved the issue, I'd recommend doing a quick Google and read the countless threads from customers who have paid money for your game, only to find it is broken, and continues to be broken in v1.10.0.

There are a significant number of users experiencing this problem and we are increasingly losing faith in you. I'd recommend your development teams concentrate on adequately testing patch fixes prior to live release rather than your development teams continuing to test the audiences's patience.

In case you didn't see the response I received from Ubisoft Support (and I use the term loosley) see http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...ameplay-v1-9-0

Basically, they have give up and turned around and said wireless controllers are not supported which is absolute cobblers seeing as they released a patch yonks ago to try and fix the problem. Plus my wireless Xbox controller works perfectly in Far Cry 3 so why not Far Cry 4.

    Rubbish.
