Good point. B8ZZ too. I guess I'm approaching this from a perspective where I know the price was never really an offer price, so I don't see the big deal. But to someone who is new to the game the 'special offer', 'limited time offer' stuff could very easily influence their decision to buy something. In fact, I remember buying the flaming tango paint job bundle because I thought it was a good saving at the time. Doing a quick search of Google I was able to find U.S and U.K laws against this practice.Originally Posted by xzamplez Go to original post
Yep, the "content" has to be at the original price for a certain amount of days before it can be advertised as a "sale", otherwise it's against the law here in Ireland.Originally Posted by timohthey Go to original post
Yeah, I used to work in a Currys electronics shop. The price tickets that had offers on used to have a note at the bottom stating the dates that the product had been at the original price for before it was reduced.Originally Posted by B8ZZ Go to original post

Lol! Honestly, you probably are. I only worked there because a couple of mates from school worked there. It was my first job, and my last job in retail.Originally Posted by CasuallyDressed Go to original post
Anyway, I doubt RL will do much about this besides alter the next bundle so it more accurately reflects the offer.
I think the discount logic works pretty much like this:
How much should 600.000 coins plus 200 gems cost?
Considering 750.000:20€ = 600.000:x€ x = 16.
So 600.000 coins worth 16€ + 5€ for 200 gems = 21€
If we change the referring price of the coins we have different results.
360.000:10€=600.000 =x€ x = 16,666...7 = 16,7€.
The final price would now be 21,7€
Is this all clear? Am I wrong somewhere?
