Same here, 64-bit version. Same situation as you.Originally Posted by Amped_Carnage Go to original post
I'll try to uninstall and reinstall, brb.
Yeah, I've got the exact same problem. I already tried unistalling/reinstalling uPlay (making sure that the leftover contents after the uninstall were also removed), and I also tried to reset the HOSTS file in Windows (I've read that Ubisoft recommended this step as an attempt to solve a similar problem in the past), but none of these worked for me...
Well, i think i figured a way out temporarily.
I've uninstalled Uplay, reinstalled it, then deactivated my network connexion. Launch Uplay, let him look for updates WITHOUT your network connected, then reactivate your internet connexion on the login screen. Uplay's installation file hasn't been updated yet, and it's a working version for now.

Enjoy, i guess.
Same thing here. Just wanted play Far Cry 4. This is the primary reason why this form of authentication protocol is a huge hassle. I don't think I will purchase another Ubisoft game. I have had similar issues in the past and it is just not worth it. Steam seems to work most of the time without similar issues and will be my preferred format.
