    Can't Play, Can't Uninstall

That's my problem, at this point.
Mis-install, the computer froze and all I could do was reset.
Since I did, Uplay insists the game is installed, but there is no
directory where I chose it to be installed. So, play understandably
doesn't work. However, trying to UN-install does nothing but
pop up the windows uninstaller...where the program does not feature.

So, basically, no game to play, but Uplay insists it's there, so I can't
install it. Any suggestions as to what I should do? I've tried uninstalling
    Uplay, no joy.

clean registry with ccleaner for example
    FIRST uninstall uplay,
SECOND - make sure to delete all leftovers -> ubisoft/uplay folders (unless u have other uplay games)
THIRD: clean registry, should wipe out leftovers after uplay and the failed installation

FINALLY: install uplay and the game
game is great and the player base is a little bit bigger now

    Hope it helps!!
    Regards

Unfortunately Tengg-Eri's solution didn't work for me. Support isn't giving much either, still after months.

Why not just go into your directory that you installed GR:FS in and manually delete the whole GRFS folder?

Because if you delete all files from the directory, you won't have an option to install the game again anymore. Uplay still won't recognize is it installed or not, it does not have any options to install or uninstall the game no matter do you really have it on your PC. If you delete the files, Uplay just keeps keeps telling you to check the files, nothing else.
