-New Map- ICE MANA VALLEY (Outpost)

Hello everyone, I'm Magadite aka ManAndGun from xbox live. This is my new map called ICE MANA VALLEY.

It's an Outpost map set in the snowy Himalayan mountains, setup like a small single player mission (now co-op also) where you are deployed at a high altitude with minimal gear and a winglider suit. I was slightly influenced by the old Goldeneye days with the silenced PP9 infiltrating a snowy landscape. You work your way down slowly or quickly until reaching an icy river with a small outpost and a larger base built into an old ruined temple.

The difficulty is fairly high, with options to go full stealth or all-out assault, the former being less troublesome overall.

There are many routes to choose and the mission can be taken in many different ways, with each section offering different approaches and methods that can be used.

I have gone for a naturalistic aesthetic, with varying landscapes and sections to the level.

    Tips:
    • For the first play-through i'd advise gliding down the slope and deploying the parachute well before the archway of rocks.
    • Look through each section carefully for ammo and weapon pickups.
    • There are green herbs to make syringes and they also point out different routes and hidden weapons.
    • The big bell tower at the end can collapse. Be careful!

There is even a secret mortar turret for a completely different way to take the level on, if you find it.

Please try and all feedback welcome. Thanks!

Map is now published and online. For some reason it didn't work straight away.

Thank you, I always try to make it look natural. I like that the Far Cry editor has always let you create natural environments.

The terrain looks really nice but then you always did natural settings very well, its a long time since I played Waters Edge & Gemini but they will always be 2 class maps those, shame we are not on the same platform.
