Clip is half-empty after picking eneny's gun by accident and switching back!

You all know a scenario when you wanna loot enemy's body and pick his weapon instead...
What happens is when you switch it back for your gun, more than half of the bullets in the magazine are mysteriously gone...

When your mag contains like 30 rounds, it's no big deal, but for example with Buzzsaw you lose 300 rounds at once!!!

I don't consider it a bug, but i is certainly an annoying flaw in game mechanics.
And it sure HAS to be fixed, don't you all agree?!

Am I really the only one who wants this to be fixed???
I don't believe everyone else besides myself think it's how the things are supposed to be and should stay that way...

no i noticed it it too ..but i didn't think it was a big deal .. you are right it is a bug that needs to be looked into ...... did ya open a ticket ?

i just brushed it aside and used another weapon if my ammo got too low

also i don't think the DEVs even look at this forum as it is listed at the top as

Forum to receive technical help from community members, as well as information on new or ongoing issues.

i think to get anything really looked into is to use the ubisoft ticket system for tech support

and we all know how that works ..right ?

Hi, WID, thanks for the reply!
No, I haven't opened a ticket on this one yet, I still awaiting an update on that one (they finally looked into that bug and now the status of the ticket is "Unresolved", but not a single update on the matter).

But believe me, I would withdraw every ticket about "minor" bugs if I only knew they will dedicate all freed time to something like analyzing and fixing people's broken saves... But they apparently will not...

well they may have a lot of tickets to deal with as there are still people that fail to meet the minimum system requirements before buying the game are probably submitting tickets too

i have seen those posts take a huge jump over on the steam forums just this weekend cuz the game went on sale ... i guess they think that it will run on their old dual core CPU or with windows XP
or ageing graphics card and meeting and exceeding system requirements don't apply to them

since their "other games" work fine LOL

WID, I don't talk about people that could only blame themselves when they can't play the game they bought...

In my opinion the biggest Ubi's fault is that even when you have the best gaming rig and the game runs flawlessly, one nice day you can be left with corrupt save, and with one-save-slot system it means that you're basically screwed and have to start all over again. But even then there is no guarantee it will not happen again... And in most cases their own cloud is to blame... PC users could at least backup their saves manually, but for consoles there is no remedy.

I see the threads about various looping issues and lost progress every day, and in too many cases all I can do is offer them my own saves, and no cure whatsoever for consoles users... This is just wrong...

i agree with you as well about the save problems that should also be addressed especially for console users if there is no setting available for then to disable the unreliable cloud save function

and yes the game should have shipped with the option for more then one save slot

again like i said a few posts up i do not think the dev team even look at this forum and the only way to have things looked into and or fixed is rely on the ubisoft support ticket system

and even then your chances of getting anything looked at fixed or resolved seem to be pretty slim judging by how long it has taken them to even look into your other ticket about the crafting issue that affects everyone as well ..whether they are on console or PC .. same with the unknown location bug same with the hole in the map that stabbysuplay found i bet that hole in the ground is still there in version 1.8 ..in fact i'm gonna go look now and see if its still there

as i did note they fixed the walls that were see thru in that one underground room behind the house near shannath

and of course i didn't note the location of that cabin and cant find it

but the stabby hole is still there in version 1.8

    location X444.4 Y360.1

the only way to have things looked into and or fixed is rely on the ubisoft support ticket system
This is what puzzles me - they do nothing or almost nothing about issues people are screaming about (save system and saves corruption, gamepad incompatibilities, stuttering, random crushes with Maxwell cards, SLI issues, key bindings, bugged locations and many other serious things), but suddenly they add minor features that were requested couple of times, like turning loot animations off or option to disable camera tagging... It's really nice of them, but what about all other stuff???
It's true though that if you don't open a ticket the chance of any issue to be resolved is close to zero...
But even if you do it's not much bigger...

i did note they fixed the walls that were see thru in that one underground room behind the house near shannath
    Really?
Again, I don't remember anyone asked them to "fix" this basement, in my opinion it looked much more interesting with the view to the underworld... )))

yea i found that house the other night again and saw the walls were fixed if ya run across it again post the location .. as me like an idiot forgot to write it down when i was there and i forgot which direction that basement was from shannath

but like i just posted in another thread why don't they give out detailed patch release notes?... i have no clue...... i even requested some the day patch 1.8 came out .. got no reply

and that day i got two patches from steam one was 34 meg the other that was the DLC was 900 meg well what was in that first patch ?

    jelly beans ?

    candy bars ?

    more bugs ?

    who knows ?

we do know they added the disable loot animation but we had to find that ourselves by opening the menu's and searching

any normal Dev team like i said includes detailed patch notes with any patch so they know whats fixed on what version of the game thats why you change the version of a title when you release a patch ..so you can track what you have already addressed

Ah, here's fresh example of what I was just talking about:
    http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...1#post10580752

All these poor folks can do is start the game over and pray it will not happen to them again...

And as for notorious Ubi's silence about everything - I'm sick and tired even thinking about it... It's absurd beyond anyone's comprehension...
