    Anyone here with G-Sync? (144Hz)

Far Cry 4 seems to be the only game where I notice how there is less lag even with v-sync on, whilst g-sync only makes the lag worse. Games such as Borderlands 2, Battlefield 4 and Tomb Raider both have perfect G-Sync functioning making me absolutely love my new gaming screen, but kinda dissapointed and wondering if there is anything I can do to fix this issues for Far Cry 4? Any other experiences here? I use a BenQ XL2420g and loving it for every game out there, except Far Cry 4, unfortunately. My gfx card is a GTX970, wich I got Far Cry 4 for free with.

So am I the only one that has issues with Far Cry 4 combining it with G-Sync? I really doubt it has anything to do with my hardware setup. I've had a positive G-Sync experience so far with all games... except Far Cry 4. It gets so bad, I might as well turn on V-Sync, because it lags just as much. I am not willing that it doesn't have something to do with the Far Cry 4 engine itself. For a game that advertises NVIDIA, it seems very odd that it functions so bad. I've tried it with at least 20+ games, and it worked fine. So anyone else experiencing this epic lag?

I have an older system, sli 770's and adequate ram. For the most part .... FC 4 is smooth as silk. Driving vehicles it will lag, and heavy fight scenes FPS will drop and stutter a bit. All settings on Ultra, AO HBAO+ AA off, Vsinc off and Hyper Threading turned off in bios. I also use MSI Afterburner to lock the fps to 60 (which helps me with headaches). All driving a 2560 x 1600 30inc HP Monitor. Curious ... does the game always lag for you, or just once in a while during heavy scenes. NOT that any lag is acceptable mind you, just curious considering your using g-sync.

Well, for now I've turned off G-Sync and using ULMB at 144hz instead. Runs fine, no input lag. But with G-Sync enabled, it acts exactly the same as if V-Sync was turned on, I really feel the input lag of V-Sync when using G-Sync, and yes V-Sync is turned off. Its not really lag, like game lag or low fps, its actually input lag like what V-Sync usually does. And no the input lag is absolutely not acceptable, it becomes almost unplayable for me. Far Cry 4 is the only game so far I have had issues with G-Sync to be honest. In BF4, Borderlands 2 , Tomb Raider and Dragon Age it works just fine.

Disregard anything I've said about G-Sync. I just discovered the real problem has to do with mouse lag. The game doesnt seem to use raw mouse input, making every movement not feel reactive enough almost as if V-Sync was turned on. It can't be my fps either, getting anywhere from 60-100 fps.

    Hi Pull

If your Display mode is set to Windowed or Borderless, switch to Fullscreen. Windowed or Borderless lags badly. At least on my system. Let us know if that helped you.
