A few of the things I dislike about the new PVP tracks:

- I cant play ghosts to see how others did the track better.
- I cant play it anytime I want for practise, or choose the bike to play it with.
- I can only see any info on rank,etc once I have beaten my personal best.
- Who is ahead of me? In the ranking I can only see the names/players of those immediately above/below me.
- I have no clear record of what bikes others used (if I am rank 4 with an Armadillo and those ahead of me are all Berzerkers, I wanna be proud!)
- Are there "inaccuracies" in the scores/ranks we ought to report? I guess we have to get the #1 legit score to catch a glimpse....
- What are the Bronze/Silver/Gold/Plat scores to beat for them? Dunno.


So... I cant do anything about any of that. All I can do is record my time/medal/bike as I get it. Which I am doing... At the very least, I want to KNOW I have made Plat and set decent scores on each one, and dont want to have to get the track in a showdown to see my personal best....

I am tempted to make a topic like the WR one where we can post our best scores/bikes, and maybe figure out the medal times....keep it matained for easy reference... but I have hit my limit on the number of topics I am maintaining the OP for. And in the back of my mind I know that they are very likely to add more such tracks in the future making the burden of that topic increase. It would be very active (at least for the moment)

Is there anything I missed that I should add to the list of inconveniences about the PvP tracks? Is that anything about the way those tracks are being done that people LIKE (maybe a well-constructed argument for why this is all a GOOD thing might cheer me up)

I've posted this in another topic, but I'll post it here again.

They need to make the tracks either PvP specific or available on the world map. I think a lot of issues would fade away if there weren't leaderboards/medals. Just make it PvP only. Make a loot wheel specific for these tracks that is equivalent to a silver medal, so we can get parts.

I had thought the tracks were tier specific, that only times with the correct tier bike registered on the leaderboard, is that wrong? I know that earlier I got 3rd place on Hill Climb with a Mantis (9.531), i think I'm 0.016 behind alexbyrne79. I burned some tickets to try to figure out medal times.

Hill Climb medal barriers:

Platinum - 10.000. (9.999 was platinum, 10.007 was gold)
Gold - 12.250 (12.247 was gold, 12.254 was silver)
Silver - 18.000 (17.982 was silver, 18.099 was bronze)

Tier doesn't seem to matter; Sine City has come up for me so often I expect it almost every time now. I have have ranks/times for it on Tango, Mantis, and (3 separate times) Marauder.

Pretty sure Plat time for Sine City is 13.5; it's a while back but pretty sure I had gold at 13.526, and I know I had plat at 13.44. (Down to 13.282 with the Mantis)

my guess is at the end of the season the tracks will show up on the map in the next update.

i wouldnt put too much time into trying to track these things. it just doesnt make sense for them to not eventually make them like every other track since they affect global score.

I got 13.144 on Sine City with the Mantis, yesterday that was enough for 2nd place. I would also like to see the leaderboard without having to improve my own time.

Nice one! I was rank 4 yesterday with Riptide@9.087, but I am sure thats been falling steadily with scores like that. I am really interested in seeing what a Speed Bike would do on that track

I just realized this means I must have barely platted yesterday with my Phantom without realizing it (9.957). Hopefully I'll get this with the mantis sometime....

One hour ago I received a push message that a friend had passed me on Sine City, and I was thinking what if slide that message so it would take me directly to the track? It took me to the upper left corner of the map and it showed me the leaderboard Then I hoped I could start the track, it shows 5 fuel to start race, but then it says Showdown Special
It says 5 fuel but it is a tierless track, the best times are berserkers.

Very nice. So the leaderboards are there, we just can't access them normally. Please release these to us RL I just set notifications for leaderboards to 'on'. Hope someone beats my time on Hill Climb

Using same technique, here is the top 20 for Bunnyhop. Its a mixture of Mantis, Riptide, and Berzerker... all are in top 5 (mostly Mantis)
