I've had this video made for a while but was trying different methods to make the quality better at 1080p on YouTube. It's made via 1080p capture, then a slight resizing to 2048x1152 with a bit of sharpen to offset the slight blur introduced by adding 7% more pixels. This force's YouTube's compression software to devote more bitrate when converted to Flash and makes it look sharper. You should be OK with adequate connection speed buffer wise. It can be a bit finicky at first getting the viewer set to 1080p, but once it's locked in, you're good to go.
(Sorry for the confusing thread title. I forgot I went Sabal's way after hearing the radio coms.)
lol your gameplay is much of Arnold & sylvester. In a great way tough...Originally Posted by Frag_Maniac Go to original post![]()
I went for Amita all the way and then when I had to chose I killed her.
Would have been smart of Ubisoft /the Developers that when the game is done 100% an option would appear to do the other path.
Anyways intresting to see other people play.
That guy called you Arnold & Sylvester, guess that would make me Splinter Cell as I like to do everything stealth mode. :P
LOL, yeah I totally forgot it was the Sabal way when I made the thread, so the thread title is a typo, oops.
To be honest I prefer the Amita way because I like hijacking the convoy better, but when I make YouTube videos, anymore I try to use the quickest method to make the file smaller and upload quicker. Having a mere 760k upload speed isn't too cool. Plus once I discovered you could launch from so close to the arena with the wingsuit it seemed kinda fun to swoop under the bridge, then hear the guys on the other side of the bridge talking about something suspicious they heard/saw as you enter the fuel truck camp.
This was alao a test for the 2048x1152 resize trick though. Did any of you have any trouble launching it in 1080p, esp 1080p fullscreen? And if you used 1080, did it buffer OK for you?
As for stealth, yeah I love using stealth as the convoy comes doing it Amita's way, but once on the road, you may as well break out the M79, because they all know you're coming, and it's fun to kinda play it like a shooting gallery to see how many trucks you can hit. Once at the bridge, it's hard to use stealth. I tried experimenting with ways to wingsuit, and even managed to do a short flight from atop the truck parked near the gate to the left and parachuted up over the wall, but you wind up with auto fail or out of bounds messages no matter how you do it. I once stopped on King's Bridge and wingsuited down into the river valley to the right, and even managed to go quite a ways, but eventually you wind up with out of bounds or places too steep to climb.
