    Remove checkpoint sound

Hi there I'm making a custom checkpoint, and was just wondering if it's possible to remove the original checkpoint sound somehow? If not, is there a tutorial on how to make one (checkpoint) from scrath cannotfind

Not possible anymore as far I know. I think this is what you are looking for.

    Add more checkpoints.

Tried moving the CP far away and the sound volume is indeed the same.

You could add a custom sound trigger to the checkpoints with higher volume to be louder then the standard sound.

Yes i tried that as well, kinda annoying. They sure are making it complicated
I guess i could try making the custom sound louder, as long as it wont wreck anyones ears.

Thanks guys, will try spoofing if nothing else workes. Cheers

The link I've put up was for evo, so it doesn't take into account the possibility of the new b-button tile. I never tried using this, but can you turn off the b-button or assign it to another action for a trials track or is this only possible in skillgame mode?

If so, maybe tying a value from a vds for each different cp to the use of the b-button is an easier solution.

For example: custom cp=area trigger. The area trigger changes the value from vds. When you press b, let it check the number and it will reset to a certain point using the reset to driving line option from the player event.

I have no idea if this will work though. I'll try it tomorrow myself to check.

    edit:n nvm, not possible.

I know there is a bug with sounds sometime, when you have 2 sounds by a little difference like 0.500, you can only hear 1 sound. Maybe if you put a sound with 0% and the option 'global sound' enable (not the good word, don't remember) it will work (enable the sound at 0% and not the sound of the CP).
