    USELESS Ubisoft customer support

    Hi guys

    I purchased both Far Cry4 and Watch Dogs online and recently had to reinstall Windows. Consequently my games no longer work even though they were on a separate partition. Now i thought this may happen so I looked in the "installs" folder for the backup of the install file - NOTHING. And I did not have "delete install files" checked. I attempted to login to Uplay which told me I needed to download the game so I clicked okay and waited....and waited, watching the little spinning icon for hours on end until...nothing happened.

    I contacted Ubisoft customer support and explained the whole scenario. Without filling this space with the ridiculous replies I got, suffice to say the whole "support" thing went around in circles with them telling me I need to download the game again....DUH! I can't download the game because Uplay won't connect to Ubisoft servers.

    I don't have a proxy set. They asked me for my directX settings and system setup. Absolutely NO bearring on the problem. I've been back and forth trying to get a sensible answer from these monkeys but to no avail! ALL I ask is that I can re-download the games so i can install them and play the games I PAID for!
    Maybe I'd be better off with a copied version. That way I'd actually have something I could USE !!!!

    When you reinstalled Windows, did you have to reinstall all your software as well? Completely uninstall Uplay, restart the computer, then reinstall it fresh. Connect to your account & see if you can download your games from your purchase history.

    Hi Jolan

    Yes mate, that's one of the first things I did. I explained that to Ubisoft as well. I tried it several times with no luck whatsoever. Now I have downloaded cracked executables and updates as i couldn't connect to the server and still can't but the game works now without allowing any online content or communication.

    I just bought the game too, and I can't even register the game, it just says that my key is banned. What the hell? Please help me out, I was dying to finally get to play CO-OP with my friend
