Lock my frames on BF4 at 200FPS no problem

but Farcry 4 is a mess. Not gonna play it until this is fixed. I also believe that my specs are good enough to run it.

Any workarounds i can do to help with the stuttering?

I tried the loadpip thing and the maxed prerendered frames in the settings file, still zippo.

Set my nVidia 3D settings the right way, but still runs like Sabal on crack

    Any help is appreciated.

No fix unless you consider turning graphic settings down to medium and still getting the stutters/hitches - just not as bad. It's purely an optimization issue that UBI has to fix. My rigs below and should smoke this freakin game like every other AAA title that I can run 100% perfectly maxed out. I too am not playing until it's fixed (if ever) and at this point fear I'm losing $60. My UBI service rep as stated that a stutter and 16:10 support patch is coming that fixes both issues but at this point I doubt it.

I just pop my head in here every few days to see if it's come out...so far they are more concerned with getting DLC's out while Steam runs a 33% off sale.

Bumping this just in case Ubisoft have forgotten to release the patch they said was going to fix the stuttering and lack of 16:10 resolution support etc etc etc etc. C'mon Ubisoft... It has now been over 100 days since the release date and the game is still in an unenjoyable state. Give us an ETA on the patch or something please?

Cool down. He actually has the game, but the way he got it was by following YOUR advice on steam forum... Remember?

I sent an update request on the 23rd and heard back a few days later. Seems the stuttering fix was BS...not sure WHY they won't update to include 16:10 support either. Below is their response for reference. This will be my last post...I'm done with this BS and will try to get a refund through Steam.

We are still looking into why you are getting the stuttering while using a SLI interface. We thought the fix would have been released in this most recent patch, but it seems that is not the case. We will push this information up to the development team.

    Hi Tyler,

What's the word man, it's been almost another month?!?!? If the dev team has found a fix for the stutter and are providing 16:10 support why are they not releasing it? What's the ETA?

I'm sick of waiting! If they need time to make it right I totally understand that but it would really be nice to know roughly how long the wait will be. The communication is really poor here. If I don't get a response I'm just gonna uninstall and never buy from Ubi again and try to get a refund from Steam. It's just too freaking frustrating and I really can't understand how ya'll can treat customers like this.

I'm just about to give up trying to play this game. Game stutters like mad, hell even the map can't scroll without jumping erratically. My experience with support hasn't yielded any useful information towards resolving this issue and my ticket now appears to be closed with no resolution in sight.

This is my first Ubisoft purchase in a long time, and to be honest I won't be rushing to buy any of their other titles. Indie developers seem to have a better grasp on how to code for the PC and at least offer reasonable support.
