I was wondering why the missions were marked as "expert only" when they were so easy. I think it's easy to forget that our bikes are heavily upgraded and we've been playing the game for quite a while. I pretty much one-shotted all the missions, with a couple of exceptions, and the only one that gave me any trouble was the new track. But that's probably only because I have maxed out bikes.
If I were new and had 3's/4's on my upgrades and had only been playing for a month or so, it might not be so easy. They have to make the challenge achievable for a decent number of people, which means some people will always find the challenges easy. xzamplez, you are a top 10 rider, if not top 5, if they made a challenge that you found challenging then 99% of people wouldn't be able to complete it lol.
The squirrel suit is definitely worth the gems. Will come in handy when new items are added to the chip shop.
The loot wheel prizes may have dropped, but you now get 1000 coins when gifted instead of 100. As you also get coin bonuses for gifted fuel, I can see the reduction in loot wheel prizes not being as noticeable as you'd think. I'm going to wait a few days and see where I'm at with my coins and compare to past days with better pots.
As for Zudina, I've started 13 showdowns. As I have all the tracks unlocked I should be able to fly through a lot of her missions. Can't wait for some new loot![]()
@Timohthey: I'm trying not to factor in my ability too much toward my opinion on the missions. It had an expert label, which led me to believe it would be the hardest mission so far. Unfortunately, it wasn't. If people were this far into the game, they won't have that low of upgrades, so that can't be too heavy a factor. I know most people have to be able to pass it. I guess the expert label was just a pat on the back, like legend rank. Both of those words shouldn't be used so freely.
Except for the last track (which is truly a challenge) all the Terracota Riders times were Plat on those tracks. Anyone whose bikes/skill are sufficient to get consistent Plat times will have no trouble with him. While that may be an expert challenge for the average Frontier player, its not going to be that hard for anyone in the LB top 200 or so... and thats much of this forum. I like to think that that last track is the part that was meant to satisfy us. Little pieces like that are all we can get; they arent building most of this for us.Originally Posted by xzamplez Go to original post
The best thing they could give us to actually call a track expert would be a ninja track that required wheelies and tire grabs to finish the track. That is when you can truly call it an expert challenge. Well at least in my opinion.
But still happy for the free content. Thanks.
So... Am I reading this right... Current gift box limit - 10/10 fuel and 3/3 golden tickets?..
Should be fuel 10/10 and tickets 10/5. Not sure what's gone wrong there.Originally Posted by bunnyhop90- Go to original post
Good point. You're right about not just throwing about worlds that would denote some high degree of skill for relatively simple challenges. I do wish they would have used some of the legitimately hard tracks in the game instead of a set of easy ones.Originally Posted by xzamplez Go to original post
what do you mean "should"? have you checked your recently? are you saying it's only my gift box that is affected?Originally Posted by timohthey Go to original post![]()
Same here. 3/3 golden tickets. Bleh. Ahh well, I won 6 on the Slots so there is that I guess?!Originally Posted by bunnyhop90- Go to original post
My bad. I rebooted my game and now it says 3/3. I guess we'll just have to check our gift box more frequentlyOriginally Posted by bunnyhop90- Go to original post![]()
I also hoped it was a mistake, or referring to something else, because it was in the "improvements" section at the bottom of the original post lol
